The episode was suprisingly good. Even Delinda was tolerable.
Although I side with Sam regarding the milkshake incident, I can't fault Cooper for firing her. Heck, I'm suprised it hasn't happened sooner.
And I do believe that's the best I've ever heard that final song used (even if it seems every show, ad, movie, and video game uses it these days).

I still like the Tears for Fears original.

And I always thought the original Tears for Fears version was too (and very oddly) upbeat given the song's message. Gary Jules's version nails it.

But seriously, how many times has the Montecito been robbed now?

oh yeah, my guesses for what will end up happening.. they give Sam's job to the new girl, she ends up horrible at the job so they bring Sam back. And Danny finds the guys who robbed the casino based on looking at the guys forearm tattoo. I expect this all to happen by the end of the next episode.

I sort of hate most of this season of Las Vegas. Too bad this is the one show that has a ton of episodes already in the can before the strike. Even with the T&A on display, this season's episodes just seem to be treading water.

Not bad. Somehow I thought the uncle was in on the robbery. Wanting to go back in to the Montecito. He was is military and it looked like a military tattoo on the guy Danny ripped the sleeve off ot.

I'll say this - if a Vegas casino had the kind of security that the Montecito has, they'd be broke within a week.
Tell me about it.
I loved the strippers switching off and having different feelings toward Mike.

If anyone is curious, TV Guide says Las Vegas is shooting 19 episodes out of the original 22 episode order this season. The good thing it's 2 more than last season and significantly close to a full season compared to what most shows are getting.

One thing that never changes...my love for Vanessa Marcil.

I skipped a couple of episodes, but since nothing else is on, I am back. The show is nowhere near as enjoyable as in the past, but it still has Delinda, so I'm good.

I pretty much have the same opinion as Patman ("I sort of hate most of this season of Las Vegas."). 19-22 episodes have been produced, which means production was rushed, and its showing. Las Vegas has never been great TV, but without Caan, and only 5 main cast members, the show has lost something. Really though, only the first 2 seasons of Las Vegas were good. Season 3 was good, but wasn't at the level of the first 2 seasons, and Season 4 was another step down in quality. Now here we are, in the fifth season, with another step down in quality. The show has always gotten worse, not better.
This episode was actually the best (that's not saying much) of the season, thus far. I was complaining that nothing was happening this season. At least something has finally happened, even if it's nothing original.
