I think Jack has been inept on purpose, but the HoH competition was the one he needed to win, for both himself and Erika. Nobody w/ the skills that you would think Jack has can possibly be that bad at everything.

That's right, give in to the Dark Side - it feels great.

Just do it.

It's not the Earth-shattering huge 'twist' it was made out to be. IMO at least...

Let's just say one of the houseguests got "Bunky'd" with this "twist".

Spoiler:
At least Bunky got something like $5,000 for 'selling out.' Jee essentially got nothing..right? (Other than preventing someone else from getting it, which isn't relevant since no one else took the offer.)

"Big twist" my ass. That's all I gotta say.

If I were working on this show, first off Julie Chen would be gone. Her replacement? Will Kirby, winner from season two. He's wicked funny, sadistic, knows the game, and would definetly be more entertaining than the droning voice of Chen.

Second, food would not be the only commodity they could lose. There'd be competitions to earn shower privilages. Now *that* would make things interesting. I think being filthy and stinking for a week would be much worse than being stuck only eating PB & J (which at least to me wouldn't be a punishment. I love PB&J. Bread and water...now *that* should be their food punishment.)

Third, one of the endurance challenges (like last week's HoH) would be to stay awake the longest. Maybe for the final HoH. Take one of the empy bedrooms, paint it white ( to increase the sensory deprivation) , and stick the finalists in it until they crack and one's left standing. True, the first day would be boring as hell, but once they start getting loopy.. Plus, I think that would be more physically demanding, and at that point, no one would step down so quickly.

Don't get me wrong. I like the game and have watched it since the beginning. It has come a LONG way since season one, that's for damn sure. I just think, right now, the contestants have it a little too easy. **shrug**

No, what happened is that the animosity level towards the houseguest with less perceived "integrity" has been heightened, which also happened to Bunky once he succumbed to the nugget offered by Big Bro. This will make that houseguest less sympathetic in the eyes of the jury in 4 weeks or so.

I agree - they should have gotten rid of her after the first season. This is the fourth time she has done the show and how much has she improved? Not a whole hell of a lot. Will would be a good choice - he's well-spoken, charismatic, etc...

Good point - make them sleep outside or on the floor for a week, as long as it isn't food. Mess w/ their sleep or, as you said, their hygiene. (Jee would have a fit.)

Third, one of the endurance challenges (like last week's HoH) would be to stay awake the longest. Maybe for the final HoH. The sleep deprivation thing is a great idea - write the producer's pronto!

One suggestion for a "twist" -- CLOTHING PRIVELAGES. Men vs. women.

Lose the competition, and you're bare-assed naked for a week.

Or even a waist-up/waist-down. Lose and you can't wear anything above/below the waist.

I will resist looking at the spoilers. Please continue using the spoilers. I don't want to find out what the twist is until it's revealed on the show.

I like Julie Chen. I feel her questions are usually on target. Although Will would make an excellent standin. The show was lucky to find him. No other player has played BB like him. All of these lesser BB guests have learned from him.

You know how there aren't many luxury competitions this season. I think they won the jacuzzi but that was all. Prior seasons got recorded music, time on the internet, Sheryl Crowe, a helicopter flight around LA. Maybe there'll be more in the weeks to come.

How bad is PB & J for a week? I have been on a liquid diet for a long period of time in the past, but I was pretty sick.

I just wonder if it's as bad as they make it out to be, when you compare it to what the people go through on Survivor.

It's not like I'm saying I can't see how gross it would get, but it is food. They aren't going to be starved. Do they only get white bread or can they put in on a bagel or crackers?

I'd be unhappy about it, but I don't think I'd flip out. I also can see how Jee would have assumed someone else would have gone for it when it was reduced to one week. I'm not sure he'll be anymore of a target than he would have been before. If Jack and Erika were able to they'd nominate him, Jun probably won't, Robert won't, and Allison won't even try to win HOH if she thinks she can still safely play both sides. And one of these people won't be around, probably one of the two people who likely would have nominated him.

What would they have done if 2 or more people accepted it? I didn't watch too carefully.

There is really no one left after Justin to root for. I like Erika a bit, Jack is ok (but he's totally wrong about JFK), but no one really stands out.

I'm almost to the point where I'm rooting for Allison just because she's always been a source of entertainment. And she has done a really good job of playing both sides. I think she and Justin will end up getting married. How in god's name could Justin be attracted to Dana?

I was going to post how much I liked Jack getting it right about JFK. Now I have.

I guess CBS will never sell advertising space on BB to a peanut butter company, since they use peanut butter as a punishment.

"Not peanut butter...nooooooooooooo"

I could too. It's the "you can only drink water" thing that bothers me...

Right on....PB&J wouldn't be entirely horrible is you could have milk instead of water. PB&J and water doesn't seem right.

Can you imagine any of these people on "Survivor"? They'd be actively campaigning to get off the island after 2 days!

I'll be happy when Alison is voted off of this show, she irks the hell out of me and makes it really hard to watch this show.

I could do without leech/nose-picker Robert. He really needs to go, but he's going to make it to the final 4, believe it or not.

At least Jun can be funny sometimes. Alison is just obnoxiously arrogant and it got old really fast.
