That is funny stuff right there.
I agree with him completely on all accounts; except about it being the best thing on TV b/c last I checked the Packers are still on TV almost every Sunday.

Wow. Last night was the most blatant case of fixing-it-for-the-good-guys yet (not that i'm REALLY complaining -- anything to make life hell for Amy).
At least there's only a few more episodes left until i can stop hating myself for watching this.

That was a surprising fix last night. I thought that they would want a Keith/Tara (or Dave/Charla) vs Beau/Amy showdown at the end. Classic Good vs Evil.
You have to admit, the gang razzing Dave last night about Charla was pretty funny.

If I were Dave and the 3 amigos were insistent on being in my bed, I'd start farting and getting really gross (basically calling their bluff) to see if they really wanted to be razzing me(Dave).

speaking of Tom, he really ruined the mood at the "seance" didn't he? and i keep waffling whether i think this is scripted or not... Dave's miscue on Beaus' goodbye hug made me think for a second it was acting, then i thought it was probably just poor social instincts (something i'm all too familiar with)

It can't be scripted. Anyone could have been picked by Tom and open the sealed envelope.
Had the host just told him, then I would think something was up. It was sealed, so I don't.
Amy sucks.

Sure, it can be scripted:
Tom: choose Charla.
Dave: choose Charla.
Charla: choose Dave.
Tom: choose who should leave.
Tom: choose Dave.
Dave: opens envelope.
Dave: choose Beau to leave.
Beau: leave.
Tom: choose Charla.
Dave: choose Charla.
Charla: choose Dave.
Tom: choose who should leave.
Tom: choose Dave.
Dave: opens envelope.
Dave: choose Beau to leave.
Beau: leave.

I don't even think it had to be that scripted (although i know you're just overexaggerating). It was pretty easy to generate last night's outcome and not be "scripted".
All the producers had to do was say that it would be a "normal" roommate-picking ceremony. The couples were SO obvious that it was easy to know who would be the odd man out -- Tom.
With that known, just pose a carefully worded question to Tom so that he ends up picking his enemy. (Tom hasn't made it a mystery to the producers who his enemy is). Then have that enemy open up the "sealed" envelope, and voila! One of the other "bad guys" are gone. I'm sure the producers figured that Dave (Tom's enemy: see above) would cause Amy more grief by kicking Beau off -- and if he decided to kick Scott off INSTEAD, that's just as fine -- but Holly turns into the nutcase instead (as if she wasn't already).

Not to mention that Amanda could have been holding different envelopes depending on the situation or had Tom picked Beau (thinking that there is some twist), she may have just not handed out an envelope at all and said Beau has been eliminated.

Well, I won't waste time debating whether the show is fixed or not fixed; there are laws against that, so we'll have to assume its not. Also, I just don't care.
On another point, Amy sucks and when she eats my head hurts.

Interesting. Never ceases to amaze me that people think they're above the law.
Hey, I should make a sweet martial arts movie called something like "Above the Law" and I'll make millions!!!......

I love how Dave screwed himself over. This is why I have the policy that if you lie to me once, you are never my friend again.
Anyway...
I think the big twist next week is that the couple that wants to win HAS to get engaged or married. It is basically the MO of Fox to make people get engaged/married.

Ding Dong, Ding Dong, the crazy lady has be left the hotel. With more dripping irony, Keith got to send Amy packing. Inside, he had to be thinking, "Muhahahahahaha!"
Now it's finally down to 3 couples (Dave/Charla, Keith/Tara, and Scott/Holly).
After some conniving from Dave (to play both sides of the fence), Keith used it to make him the more palatable choice for Scott/Holly to allow Keith to decide who goes to the final four (2 couples). So Keith has the final say to boot either Dave/Charla or Scott/Holly.
Next week, Fox strings this out for 2 more frikkin' hours!

2 or 3 episodes ago, i was telling my friend that it looks like there has been a LOT of editing going on to disguise what's really been going on at that hotel. These last two episodes have finally illustrated that, to a certain extent, Dave might have actually earned all that hatred towards himself. Don't get me wrong, all those "originals" are complete idiots, and 50 of them are gonna come after me in Arizona. However, this last episode clearly showed how deceiptful Dave's been the whole time. He just never expected both sides to compare notes, and with a group this small, he couldn't "modify" his story enough to make each side happy.
I just found it completely DUMB for Dave to turn on his own team. Keith's obviously going to choose Dave and Charla to stay, but Dave could have played Scott/Holly in a way that wouldn't piss off his team. Before the "drama", Dave/Charla had a 4 in 6 chance of getting the "power" and staying until the end. With his "strategy" blowing up in his face, it was very possible for him to LOWER that to a 2 in 6 chance instead. Not very smart.
Anyways, it doesn't matter. Keith will choose Dave/Charla to stay. We'll find out that the ultimate prize is a weekend with Zack, and we can finally stop watching this train wreck of a show.

I cannot believe this show has been on for 4 months!!! Ridiculous! And as we know...here in Paradise....there is always a surprise....I totally got sucked into this show and now I must finish watching. I think that Keith and Tara will win. Holly is so irritating it will be annoying if they win. They're really building up this "ultimate prize" business so they better not dissapoint, although I'm sure they will. Seems to me like they're just making up the show as they go along.

I think I figured out what the "Ultimate Prize" is. Last night Amanda said something like "there is something you must do to earn the ultimate prize".
I think they are there to win a 1 year contract with Vivid and in order to win it, the 3 girls have to audition by doing a girl on girl scene with Amanda. I haven't figured out what the guys win but who really cares.
If I'm right, I just hope Holly wins

Bill Simmons must've watched the show from the beginning to have come up with a piece like that.
