This sucks. They should have at least given it the second chance they promised in the the new time slot before pulling the plug.
This was one of the better new shows of the season.

This is why I'm hesitant to give any new show on network TV a chance. No matter how great it is, it'll likely be cancelled in a few weeks anyway. But I kept hearing that ABC really liked Karen Sisco and was supportive of the show, so I figured it was safe to keep watching. Then this happens.
They better not mess with Alias! If so, then I'm done with ABC. I like The Practice this season thanks to the addition of James Spader, but there's no way I'd be tuning into that show if it didn't have Alias as its lead-in.

I am SO GLAD I did not start watching this. When the promos first started, I was like "Yep. Definitely wanna check this out." But, thanks to Law & Order, I kept forgetting about it. A couple weeks ago, I was watching L&O:SVU on USA and noticed that they were showing repeats. I said "Maybe I should catch 'em here." And then switched to Dave.
So, THANK YOU ABC. You're helping me maintain the wariness that I feel everytime a new show is announced. I've already knowingly subjected myself to this kind of total disregard once [Keen Eddie]. Actually, now that I think about it -- there's also been L.A. Dragnet, Boomtown, and Ed. And you know what's amazing? I didn't start watching those shows when they debuted. I joined on this season [Dragnet/Boomtown's 2nd, and Ed's 4th]. So I wasn't a part of that "Instant Gratification Spectacular Overnite Numbers" prerequisite that you guys so desparately crave...

What complete and utter BULLSHIT!
Those no good bastards! The Mouse-House can officially kiss my ass! I am really getting pissed at the networks - they have gotten horrible over the past two seasons. I think I will write an email for once - thanks for the link, Draven.

Note to FOX, CBS, NBC or the WB - please rescue this show from Disney's dumpster and add it to your schedule.

Maybe the show could pull a Baywatch and go for syndication, or maybe another network like WB or Fox.

c'mon now B.A.hist..
I realize you're shell-shocked, but do you really expect these networks to rescue this show?
FOX - Keen Eddie.
CBS - the Handler.
NBC - Boomtown, Ed.
Yeah, i'm sure they'll show it the SAME condsideration that they showed these shows..
If anything...they'll pull it outta the dumpster, just to piss on it some more...

I don't know why networks bother with this "hiatus" garbage...just say that the show is cancelled. What happened to the ABC exec who said that they were fully behind KS, and that there would be definitely more episodes? Damn you!

Again, here is the list...
From yours truly's unfortunately prescient post of 11-02-03:
**********
Gideon's Crossing
Philly
Miracles...
I have a bad feeling that Karen Sisco will join them on ABC's killed-before-their-time roster.
**********
I hate being right.
I have almost no hope that we'll ever see Line of Fire again after Tuesday.

I'm not saying I'm glad the show was cancelled or anything, but I was kind of disappointed in the show. It didn't seem to have the snap or flair that Out Of Sight did.
I think it had potential, and may have grown into something that matched the quality of the film if it had been given the time to.
Doesn't really bother me much, I watch ABC on Sundays from 9-11 only.

I thought that the show was much better than the movie. To me, the movie was overrated, as well Clooney and Lopez. I thought that Guigino was perfectly cast.

It's not coming back - ABC shit-canned it while it was on hiatus.
I guess USA is just airing the eps on Tuesday nights.
