WOW a 40 yr payment plan SUCKS.
The present value of that is terrible compared to "1 million dollars".
Atleast in Survivor/Big Brother they straight up give the winner a check, I know Lisa from Big Brother didn't even have taxes taken out of the $500k check! She gets to plan/worry about that on her own.

Yeah but the fun part is seeing them whore themselves out for a shot at $1M.

Is it just me, or have I seen the good looking chicks on this show on some kinda porn flick or amateur glamour photo site before? Cristy C looks really familiar, so does Erin. Damn, Erin looks like that chick in the last scene of Hustler's XXX #1.
Yeah, the guy's gonna pick Paige.

It amazes me that people actually get paid to investigate reality show contestants.

Damn, I was hoping he would get rid of
No wonder Paige wants Rob so bad, that way he can fix her tickets for her.

The first week I thaught Kelly was a no good gold digger but she's really come on strong the past 2 weeks. I dig her now
Piage just looks like she needs to get laid really bad
Erin is the wildcard
I liked the voice overs when he was opening the cabinet where the cheques were. Very demonic

Oh, and about the million over 40 years. While I think this is lame, i also don't think that someone winning a million dollars (so probably about $580k after taxes) would put them on "easy street". I'd pay off our house so my wife didn't have to work, so she'd be on easy street, but there's no way I could quit my job if I won a million dollars. Its just not possible. Now if it was a million in cash, no taxes taken out, then I might be able to work something out, but I still think i'd have to work.

Actually the "winner" can take a lump sum "present value of the annuity" in lieu of the 40 years @$25,000. Someone with a financial calculator could give us that number....

No surprise there. I never found Lauren attractive anyhow - surprised she made it that far.
Kelly is my favorite. Not only is she attractive but she can bowl a 140 to boot.

Kelly is my favorite now, too, since he got rid of Laura last week. I didn't like her at first, but she has grown on me every week.
After Kelly, I like Erin the most. She's gorgeous, yet sweet. But I saw her walk on an episode and she looked like she was pigeon-toed, which I can't personally stand. My wife wants Erin to win, because she doesn't like Kelly's smile.
She knew Paige wasn't as innocent as she came across during the first episode. Neither of us like her one bit.

If Lauren would let her hair grow out some more, she's be really nice looking (the current hairstyle makes her look too much like Natalie from the Dixie Chicks).

I think Lauren would not grow "old" looking as fast as the rest of the girls remaining (including Paige, who just doesn't do much for me).
Kelly still reminds me of Minnie Driver, but with straight black hair, vs. curly black hair.

well depends what interest rate they put into the equation.
40payments one per year Present Value would be:
@4% = ~$484,400
@6% = ~$371,300
@8% = ~$295,800
@10% = ~$243,371
So any way you look at it, the value is way less than $1 million unlike Survivor.
Can anyone recap the overrun (right after he talked to the 3 girls saying he was "serious" and hope they would "let go" as well).
I didn't put a buffer on my recording.

Host took him in the secret room, where the departing woman burns her check. They explained the check business to him and showed him the check. He did a good job of looking quizzical, shocked, etc, but didn't say much.
So, now he knows about the $1M, but I don't think the girls know he knows.

That's just lame, the producers are just making this crap up as they go along. I wonder what shocking twist is coming next
:
That the girls knows that he knows that they knows about the money?
