Chevy Chase is apparently available if they want old blood. I saw him in an AFLAC commercial looking very pitiful.

The men of SNL have really been underperforming this season. I think Chris Parnell has been the most consitantly funny. For the most part I haven't found Kattan funny for years, Morgan has got his weekly "between skits" skit, but other than that is under utilized. Harmond has appeared AWOL all season. Fallon has been mailing it in and his cute boy laughing his way through a skit with Sanz just isn't cutting it anymore. The women have been kicking ass, but not enough to make the show good overall.

I have always found SNL's major weakness to be that they rely on reoccuring skits too much, they always wear out there welcome and get run into the ground. The ultimate form of this was the Cheerleaders skits. You could tell the writers were becoming lazy and said "hey let's just stick the host in a cheerleaders skit". And it appears Jarad's Room is the new stock skit for the host. They should have a rule, one reoccuring skit per season. No matter how cool it would be for Goat Boy to meet Ozzy, ect.

Jimmy Fallon is alright but overrated.

I like Tracy Morgan but the writers never give him anything worth a sh** if he gets anything at all.

Chris Kattan went from slightly amusing years ago as Mango to downright horrible.

The new no-namers aren't too bad. They have nowhere to go but up because the show has sucked for a number of years now.

People still watch SNL?

Seriously, the show has gone through at leat six of these major shifts in the talent. This should be a surprise to no one.
