I'm guessing just as many liberals will be up in arms about it, too. At least, those who share the same views as Democrats in Washington D.C.

I wonder how they are going to have Julian Assange appear on the show? Will it be live via satellite?

What a bizarre statement, some people get addicted to liberal politics, some to video games, some to wine, some to drugs, some to soap operas, some to money, some to clothes, some to...

Ah, didn't realize all of that. She dispelled rumors of anything political on the show. She was a good speaker but nothing like Affleck or other actors I've seen on the panel.

Trump announced this morning he's suing Maher. I never heard the original comments, so no opinion, but:

Even if Maher made the comment in total seriousness, and it wasn't a joke, making a statement on Leno isn't a legally binding contract. This should be thrown out of court.

There's definitely a correlation in either the Apprentice's season or another Trump project and Trump constantly making an ass of himself to get more exposure.
And the media enables it, like they do with so many others.

Tonight's guest list:
The Interview:
Julian Assange is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of WikiLeaks and co-author of Cypherpunks: Freedom and the Future of the Internet. For the past seven months he has been living in the Ecuadorean embassy in London, where he has been granted diplomatic asylum. He joins us via satellite.
The Panel:
Josh Barro is a reporter for Bloomberg TV and lead writer for Bloomberg View's The Ticker, which provides "quick commentary on economics, politics and global affairs." This week he outlined Why Opposition to Medicaid Expansion is Nuts.
Martin Bashir is the host of MSNBC's 'The Martin Bashir Show,' which airs weekdays at 4pm ET, and is a contributor to NBC's Dateline. Bashir also has a passion for reggae music and taught himself to play electric bass. He released his first album, Bass Lion, in 2010 and yes, it's our new ringtone.
Lawrence Krauss is a theoretical physicist, cosmologist and professor whose latest book is A Universe From Nothing. He made waves with a recent address, "Stop Validating Ignorance," where he suggested that basing education on religious beliefs over scientific reality is tantamount to child abuse.
Mid-Show Guest:
Tina Brown will join the panel mid-show. She is Editor-In-Chief of The Daily Beast and Newsweek, aka News Beast. Last week, Brown partnered with Angelina Jolie to announce how the Women in the World Foundation would be supporting girls’ education through the Malala Fund.

Good episode tonight. The interview with the WikiLeaks guy was pretty interesting I thought. Bill totally owned Trump in New Rules
. That man makes himself look more idiotic all the time. I'm sure some of it is trying to gain publicity but you really have to wonder where his mind is half the time. The panel overall was good too.
I found the discussion on drones pretty interesting. I actually was a bit surprised by Bill's stance on the issue even though I can sort of get where he's coming from. The whole thing borders on what's right and what's wrong. On the one hand yeah if the government has an idea that Americans turned terrorists are conspiring against the US we should do something about it but I don't know that killing them is necessarily the best option.

I thought the Assange interview was decent but also kind of a letdown. Seemed like Maher didn't want to go into it about Bradley Manning. As much as I like seeing a panel that agrees with each other it was mostly boring. That final word was very well done even if it was the subject was solely Trump.

Based off of what? She's an actress and has been on TV in interviews plenty of times.
