Another good episode.

Spoiler:
Everything that wasn't completely resolved last week was during the teaser, including what happened to Giles and Spike. It seemed pretty obvious from the begining that Woods mother was killed by Spike. I wonder if Buffy knows or considered it? And that's an interesting collection of weapons for someone who's after vamps. That whole scene at the beginning with the bloody knife seemed like it was trying to hard to make Woods look evil.


How long do we get new episodes before another rerun?

There are two or three more new episodes in a row before a rerun.

This was a great episode. It had a bit of everything: humor, suspense, action. Thumbs up from me!

There's two more episodes (2/18 & 2/25). Then the next new episode will be on March 18th.

I havent seen it yet but I read that Giles explanation for why he wasnt wacked is a eye roller.

Yeah, a bit. But in a vaildly Buffy-ish way. You know, like when Spike reappears, sinesterly mulling how he would destroy Buffy, only to suddenly be zapped out of action by The Initiative in a highly anticlimatic way.

Great episode i thought

Yes Spike being the killer of the principals mummy for easy to pick

Is it just me or has Spike's hand to hand combat prowess when fighting demons diminished considerably the last few seasons ?

he is always getting kicked around!

is SPike supposed to be a lot weaker than Angel ?

Andrew and Xander are still funny

Good episode.

I liked that they didn't make the geek (Andrew?) turn back to evil so quickly. Anyone else see a major Spike vs. the Principal feud towards the end of the season?

My only concern is that they made Woodside so susceptible to the First's plans. Guess finding out your mother's killer will do that though.

It makes sense. Part of a vampire's power is (and how deformed they get) are tied to his age... Angel was already older than Spike when Spike was sired, then

Angel spent a long period of time trapped in that Hell dimension between season 2 and 3, so Angel would be quite a bit older than Spike now

Something like that. Or "That is the best thing that I have ever put in my mouth". An easy setup, but one that was not taken, thank God (I can just see Chandler from Friends jumping over that one)...

Is Nicholas Brendon getting a little pudgy, looks like he's put on ever more weight than last year?

First the Praying Mantis teacher, then the Inca Mummy Girl, a vengeance demon, now whatever the hell Ashanti was supposed to be...he really should go gay.

Great episode, i just knew spike was the killer when the principal started mentioning about who killed his mom and stuff. I didn;t think that that guy was going to be a free lancer, i actually thought he was going to be evil, but nice surprise.

I thought it was an excellent episode....I totally had it figured out that [spolier]Spike is the one who whacked the principal's mom [/spoiler]. I was thinking back to a scene in like season 5...that made reference to said event.

I enjoyed this episode. Many plot holes were filled in. I wish they would have given a little more history on what Ashanti's character was. WTF is up with the trailer for next week?
