Holy moly! Stefanie's video clip was racy as hell! The digitial blurring wasn't doing a good job for Stefanie's jubblies.
Now they are talking about Erin being the Hot Chick on Survivor Thailand. Too bad they didn't throw in Clay's commentary on her buttocks.
Jed now knows his tribe threw the challenge just to get rid of him, and he conceded that he didn't fly low enough under the radar with his tribe.
Jan's peeps are, of course, in a pub.

Hahaha! Ted's drunken stupor was funny.
Jake's going over when his wife was eating bugs for him. His wife's presence totally messed him up for the immunity challenge, he was all aflutter in her presence.
Tanya's father died while she was on the island. Her sister got to resolve some issues at her goodbye party. That's very bitter sweet.
Poor John, getting the boot for being too assertive way too early.

It's kinda weird how Jeff has probably already filmed Survivor: Amazon and he has to come back and do this reunion special after the new season is probably already done shooting.

Yeah, having to keep both seasons straight in his head (and not let anything slip for the Amazon edition on live TV too!) might get a bit confusing. I'm sure he had plenty of time and notes to prepare him for tonight's show.

Survivor Amazon might be the most dangerous place they have filmed. I have one gripe, though. When are they going to stop filming in the hot/dry climates or the hot/humid climates? Why can't they film a Survivor in Alaska, or the Northwest Territories of Canada, or one of the Nordic countries, or Nepal, maybe? I understand that they probably wouldn't be able to show 'skin', but most of their contestants need to be covered up anyway.
By the way, I am happy Brian won over Clay - he deserved it more, imo.

The best reunion show of the bunch. Giving the hosting duties to Probst was long overdue. He observes the players as they are playing the game and has always been good at asking them uncomfortable questions about how they play. What took CBS so long to do this?

I'm in agreement that Jeff needs to stay as reunion host. Miles better than in the past. Helen's anger was bizarre. Why was Penny so into "but they didn't get to know me"? I rank this as the most boring Survivor yet. Brian was the most shrewd winner since season one.
Wonder what the big twist is for Amazon?

Why Penny think it makes any difference if either of the guys know her background and history w/r/t the game of Survivor is a total mystery to me. Yawn
Exactly!..How stupid can one be to base your vote on that!..Who gives a f*** about your sister or where your from or dog`s name
This just reinforces the stereotype that blondes are airheads!!
....And Germans LOVE David Hasslehoff!l

I'm glad Brian won, he deserved it.
He worked the hardest and plotted the most.
Helen was so pissed I thought for sure she was voting for Clay until he basically told her to f#@% off.
Penny's vote was ridiculous. How about voting for who did more work on the island instead of who got to know me more ?
I didn't know what Ken was trying to get Brian to say about Ted.
Ted was a big dissapointment throwing in the race card.
What was he talking about ? I watched every episode any Clay never said anything racist. But Ted called him a redneck anyway.
Now who is being a racist Ted ?
I'm glad Jeff did the reunion show. I couldn't watch last years with Rosie.
We only have to wait 2 months until S6.

Penny wasted her vote, imo, especially after she tried to be just as manipulative as Brian, etc.
The next one should be interesting in the Amazon. 'Survivor - When Animals Attack'.

Excellent final. I
at Ted throwing the race card out of nowhere at Clay. Helen's comments at the final council were great. I have to wonder though why she was so surprised - she had to know that she was the greatest threat to Brian. That final challenge looked extremely painful. I was surprised that they did not do a challenge based on the memory of your tribemates. Based on how little Brian knew about Penny, he would have been hurting in such a challenge.
I do give Ted and Helen credit for putting their hurt feelings aside and voting for the person who was truly more deserving.
Brian played the game extremely well for someone who clearly was not flying under the radar.
The reunion show was so much better. Don't know why they never had Jeff do this before. He knows the game and competitors so much better than Gumbel or Rosie. He actually got them to talk about strategy and the backstabbing going on. He termed Erin the 'hot chick' and talked about it as a potential liability which is something that Gumber nor Rosie would have ever done. His criticism over Ted, Helen, and Jan not teaming up and ousting Brian when they had the chance was excellent.
The Amazon should be a great location for the next one.

I agree this was the best reunion show ever. But it was the absolute worst final episode ever. There was absolutely no drama or suspense. I think they edited the Helen vote bad. Usually the editing makes you guess who will be voted out and they basically showed you you what was going down before it happened. I kept thinking a surprise vote switch would occur but when it went down I was very bored.
I can understand Helen's anger because Brian did turn on her when they had a bond. Him getting all bent out of shape just for talking with Ted was ridiculous. Hello? She VOTED for Ted. How was that not showing her loyalty? What was Brian so "stabbed in the back" over? Paranoid much?
I was annoyed at Helen for not aligning herself with Ted last week when she had a chance. I thought it was very stupid of her to vote with Brian & Clay, and then to have them turn on her and say they didn't trust her was quite unfair. She absolutely did nothing to cause any mistrust. I guess now she realizes she threw her loyalty in the wrong place.
Jan is just an idiot. She had absolutely no game strategy skills and did not care at all about her own fate in the game. She basically took whatever scraps Brian & Clay fed her. Pathetic.
It would have been so cool if Helen, Jan & Ted had ousted Clay last week. That would have really spun the game in a new dynamic.
I would have had a hard time on that jury because I didn't want either of them to win the money. Clay was a jerk from the start and Brian was too cocky and his lies really caught up to him at the end. Both of these guys played the game without much "endgame" strategy, clawing their way to the final two.
Having to vote for one of them brought back memories of the 2000 election. I was expecting one of the jury voters to write "None of the Above" on their ballot.

Interesting show. This is the first time I've watched a full season of Survivor, minus a couple of episodes. I had seen a reunion show before, but it was incredibly boring not having seen the rest of the season. I can't believe I sat glued to my seat for three hours...
Brian was incredibly lucky that the two people I thought hated him the most (Ted and Helen) voted for him, and that Jan somehow remembered that she's voting for someone and not against them. I can't believe how close the voting was. And how dumb some of the reasoning was.
Erin: voted for Clay because... uh... he lied less than Brian.
Ken: voted for Clay because Brian's a liar, and in the end, character is what counts.
Penny: voted for Clay because he "got to know her better"
Jake: voted for Brian because he was the better player, and because he values hard work, which was not Clay's forte. The only vote I really understand.
Ted: voted for Brian because Helen told him Clay made a racist comment.
Jan: voted for Brian because... well, I have no clue.
Helen: voted for Brian because he did work hard, and she hated Clay.
Erin and Penny were especially duped. Why do you think that pervert Clay was giving you all that attention? Yeah, Penny, he had a lot of time to get to know you while lying down in the cave doing nothing.
Where did Ken's accusation come from? Where did Ted's accusation of racism come from? If anything, I thought Ken and Erin were a little racist against Shiian during the whole food eating thing.
Helen admits that she would've voted for Clay after watching the show? I don't understand how these people can expect to come to this island, play this brutal, cutthroat game, eliminate everyone else, but still be completely honest and nice to people. Brian played it perfectly. He was arrogant and full of himself, but he never let himself get attached to people and always focused on the goal. That's the way to survive, not by being nice.
Also, is that case against Brian's wife only a rumor? Because the local news showed them hand in hand... was that only for the cameras?

I don't know what Ken was trying to get Brian to say about Ted. I remember the discussion that was shown between them as being similar to what Brian said when questioned: that Ted's distancing attitude towards the rest of the tribe was causing them to rethink his position and consider voting him off.
Penny's vote just demonstrated that she obviously believes that the world revolves around her and that "It's ALL about me." Brian should've turned around and asked her what she really knew about him.
I'm surprised CBS basically let the "racist" accusation stand against Clay. That's a pretty serious thing for Ted to say -- in front of 25 million viewers! -- without him being questioned or challenged on it more. You would've thought, after Ted's experience with Ghandia, that he would've been a little more sensitive to the damage this kind of comment can do.

As for people thinking Penny is an idiot because she asked what they learned about her, she was only trying to figure out who was the more sincere person. I don't know how much she could've expected since she came from the other tribe, but there is something to be said for actually getting to know someone while you are out there. It was a better way to make the decision than basically flipping a coin like we have seen in seasons past.

Yeah but it is not as good a basis as who was more hard-working. I could see Penny using it as a factor if Clay and Brian did about the same amount of work but Clay did nothing. If Clay did as much work as Brian he probably would not have gotten to know Penny so well.
