Survivor 12/19/02

Well the day has arrived, final 2 hour survivor is on tonight, as well as the 1 hour follow-up special.

I can hardly wait, although I was rooting for Ted and he's long gone(at least he won the suv)

Who does everybody thing is gonna win.. At this point, I think the navy woman is gonna take it..

It's truly up in the air and depends heavily on who wins immunity and who is smart enough to bring the right person with them to the final two.

I think it'd be hilarious if Clay wins, but I highly doubt it. I almost think that if Jan is in the final two, she'll get the jury vote. I still can't believe Vecepia won last time out. I don't think I could stomach watching Helen win it all, she just rubs me the wrong way. Brian is too cocky for his own good (sort of like Lex a few seasons back).

Brian has to be the favorite to pull immunity all the way. Only Clay can challenge (which is very surprising) on physical challenges and he will keep Brian anyway, I think.

Everyone should be looking to keep Clay to the final 2, because HE CANNOT WIN in a vote.

Odds are very strong for Brian, in my estimation. He can win out the immunity and keep Clay for the final 2 and it is a done deal.

The women may not have figured out that keeping Clay for the finals ensures the million, so if Brian goes and it comes down to the two women, then I have no clue, but I would root for Helen.

I hope Brian wins.

The key is can Clay and Jan figure out that they are being used - if they can figure this out, they need to team up since that is their only chance to win.

How good are the memories of the final 4 survivors? Well, you have recipe queen Helen with the scary-as-hell memory, and the 2nd to last immunity challenge is usually the memory challenge, she'll most likely make it to final immunity challenge with 3 left which is usually an endurance test.

Yeah - I hope they do at least 1 of these challenges differently this time around.

If Helen wins the memory challenge, I think Brian might be the one to go because I think everyone thinks they can win against Clay in a final two scenario.

So in the final challenge of the endurance test:

Jan wins (takes Helen, and Jan wins against anyone).

Helen wins (takes Jan - for the guarenteed bucks - she could react like Colby and not want Keith/Clay to have a shot at even $100,000, and Jan probably wins over Helen).

Clay wins (takes Helen, and Helen wins over Clay).

----

If Brian pulls out a win in the memory challenge, Jan will be the one to go.

Then the scenario for the final immunity challenge is:

Brian wins (takes Clay, and Brian wins the prize).

Helen wins (takes Brian, and Helen wins over Brian).

Clay wins (takes Brian, and Brian wins over Clay).

----

If Clay wins the memory challenge, then I think Jan will get the boot:

Then for the final immunity scenario is:

Brian wins (takes Clay, and Brian wins)

Helen wins (takes Brian, and Helen wins)

Clay wins (takes Brian, and Brian wins)

----

If Jan somehow pulls out a miracel and wins the memory challenge, then I think Brian gets the boot:

Then for the final immunity scenario is:

Jan wins (takes Helen, and Jan wins)

Helen wins (takes Jan, and Jan wins)

Clay wins (takes Helen, and Helen wins)

-----

Jan could win by never winning any individual immunity.

I really don't see Clay at all with a chance of winning.

Apparantly Brian's wife kicked his ass recently.

Below is the text from the above article.

Despite snakes, monsoons, and food-stealing monkeys, the beach where CBS's "Survivor: Thailand" was filmed may have been safer than the California home of one of the reality TV show's final four contestants. That's because the wife of castaway Brian Heidik was arrested last month and charged with spousal abuse. Charmaine Heidik was busted by cops on November 17 following an altercation in the couple's suburban Los Angeles home, according to these police and court records. The 30-year-old woman, who spent two days in prison before being released on her own recognizance, allegedly punched her husband in the nose. A bloodied Heidik then called 911, but he refused medical treatment when officers arrived. Charmaine told cops that the dispute began when she returned home and found Brian "passed out drunk" on the living room couch, while the couple's young son was crying on the floor. Brian replied that there had been "four additional domestic violence occurences between them during the past year" and that he planned to file for divorce. At her arraignment last month, Heidik was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her 34-year-old husband and to not "own, use or possess any dangerous or deadly weapons." A Superior Court judge also granted Charmaine a one-time visit---in the company of a sheriff's deputy--to her former Quartz Hill residence to pick up belongings. Charmaine, who, like her husband, has starred in a variety of soft-core pornos, made an appearance on last Thursday's (12/5) episode of "Survivor," which was taped five months ago. She was one of several family members allowed a brief on-camera reunion with their contestant-relatives. Heidik, whose trial is scheduled for December 16, faces a maximum of a year in jail if she's convicted of the misdemeanor corporal injury to spouse charge.

My pick is Helen to win the whole thing.

Clay will win the first immunity, bye bye Brian.
Helen wins the second immunity, bye bye Clay.

Helen wins over Jan on the jury. Could you give a million dollars to that lush that burys dead bats?

Brian doesn't win, if he was in line to have a 50/50 chance at a million dollars, would you beat him up knowing that you could take 1/2 in a California community property divorce?

Is the announcement of winner/reunion tonight live? It would be pretty funny seeing Brian with a black eye or something like that.

I'm glad that Jeff is hosting the reunion show tonight. It's about time. And thank God we don't have to sit through Rosie going on and on again.

I still think that none of the people left are particulary likeable. I still want to see how it unfolds and who wins, though, and I'll have to root for someone.

I can't stand Jan and Clay.

Brian has the be the favorite, he seems like a nice guy but his head had gotten pretty big.

So, by default, I'll be rooting for Helen. I think she could really use the money too.

Not that the others couldn't. Helen maybe more so.

I don't think Jan beats Helen anyway. This jury will vote for a competitor over an under the radar type.

I would BARELY give the money to Jan over Clay. Frankly, I would not be happy voting for Jan or Clay.

Totally unrealistic I'm sure but I'd like to see Anderson Cooper host the reunion show.

And ABC - Anybody But Clay.

His ego and vision of how clever he is creates a big problem for me; I dislike him. I don't particularly like Helen, but I like her better than any of the other three, so I guess I have to root for her.

I just can't get over how these people get pissed off when they're not told it's their day to go. If they knew, they'd try to prevent it. Helen goes around lying to everyone, playing both sides and the top of the fence, and now she feels stabbed in the back when it comes back to her? Cry me a river.

Brian's certainly in the driver's seat now. We have to assume he and Clay have a much better chance to win the next immunity, and they'd each be pretty stupid to go against Jan in the final. The only question is if Ted and Helen will be super bitter against Brian.

das

Don't these people remember that Brian sells used cars for a living? Get a clue, people!

Anyhow, the 13th to get the boot is:

Spoiler:
Helen, whose allegiance with Ted at the end got her in hot water with Brian.
