Buffy 11/26/02
I just caught the next episode of Buffy. Plot points and other spoilers below:
And the worst thing about the episode is:
Funniest line:
To keep it general, this episode definitely pushed the storyline along, and was a great episode overall, IMO.

I knew it!!!! I knew it!!!! I knew it!!!!
I called it was going to be the first evil from Amends. Holy cow dung Batman! I knew the principal was no good too.
I liked this episode a lot. Except I don't like not knowing what happened to Giles.
What blew up in the end? Was it the Watcher's Council building?

Wow! Great episode.
Terrific performances all around. Willow and Anya looked great too!
We won't get another show until next year, is that right?
I might get blasted for saying this or maybe the Buffy thread is the best place to do it, but I'm far more into what's happening with this story than the Sopranos which, seemingly, gets all the attention.
Anya:
"Not on my watch." (Slap)
"The weasel wants to sing, he just needs a tune."

Outside of the Anya scenes I thought this episode was boring. I'm having a hard time getting interested in the show this season. I think the big bad on Angel is a better storyline then this one with the first evil. I'm starting to lean to the side that it's a good thing if this is the last season.

They really seem to have this show back on track. Perfect balance of humor and drama. Between Andrew and Anya, there were plenty of good laughs. Anya gives me the hot when she starts kicking ass.
I thought it was a bit silly that Buffy tied Spike to a wooden chair. I gave the screen a nice
, since he could easily just break the chair ... thankfully, he did just that, otherwise it'd be doubly bad. Still silly that Buffy didn't think of that.
I like how most things are still up in the air, but it's going to be torture waiting for new episodes. We don't really know what the Principal was up to, the Watchers are mounting up but to do what, and who knows what happened to Giles. Although the effects were a bit of a let down, it's still cool to see a full-on vamp, instead of the human-hybrids we're so used to.
Oh, I thought the Buffy/Spike scene was just a bit forced, but overall very well done. There are few things more powerful than knowing someone believes in you, and I like that they took it in that direction.

Loved the show tonight. Much better than last season.
If it wasnt the Watchers building that blew up, why on earth would they show another building after they showed all of them talking. That sure would be misleading.
Loved the interrogation scene.
It sucked that they almost had the house repaired and then those nasty vistors showed up.
