Tracking Down THE MOLE (7/16)
Okay, how many theorists thought Bribs was the Mole? Well, surprisingly, all four of my suspects are still alive. However, with Bribs gone, this has eliminated two more teams:
* Episode 1 - The Crossbow-Biathlon Team
* Episode 7 - A Guard Who Stood. The last three people executed were from this group.
Poor Heather. She really did her best in the second round, but got tagged at last minute.
Hopefully, everyone's power of observation is at it's best...

Oh man, Bill is so The Mole.
IMO Bill gave himself away twice during the tower game:
-When he was talking to Al he said something like "and we see a lot of the thumbprints around the castle". That seemed like a clear messege to Heather about where to find the thumbprints.
-When Bill as "talking" to Al, Al somehow didn't get the messege to start. It would have been so easy for Bill to not press the button to communicate and then place blame on Al for not hearing him.
Also it seems Al is least likely to be the Mole according to the other players (though this could be some sort of strategy on the part of the players)

If Al doesn't get another exemption next week, Al might be the next to go...right Catch 21?
It'll be the Mole and the Unholy Alliance (Heather & Dorothy) for the final episode.

why AL is the mole
1. In the Burned bag Games, which we are all smart enough to know there was no way the players were going to win that challenge correct? The only person that is still in game that there was a question about Is AL.
2. The question in the burnt bags was meant to be used a clue. La Mole on the Wine . Thats Al favorite Drink.
3. Al kills himself in the Gladiator game.
4. on the wall in the gladiator game onore Al , last week Admir AL
5.(week 7/16)at the dinner table, AL 's face is in place of Judas place in the painting of the last supper
6. all the players uniamously chose Al as the least likely to be mole. (because he is the mole) the least likely as we all know is bribs.
7. The A and L lights up, when they show the country ,Italy.
I am so Good. Look at your tapes this week and look at that painting AL is so the MOLE....
then come back and say Catch 21.. wow your so right
will post more clues later i'm sleepy

I missed the first 15 minutes. What did they do?
Al is still high up on my mole list, with Bill a close second.
I'd be disappointed if Heather was the mole, since she is too close in type to the girl that was the first mole. As for Dorothy, she still sticks out like a sore thumb. She's just not a gamer... "No, I don't want to bungee jump....No, I don't want to give Heather a second chance...," etc., etc.
Next week will get more interesting.

First 15 minutes was a buyer/seller game. Heather and Dorothy had to spend 200,000 lire ($100 American) in a market/bazaar and try to get the best bargain they could... so they had to go around and barter in Italian. All this had to be done in an hour. They made it.
When they finished Bill, Al, and Bribs had to sell the items they bought but had to sell it at a profit. During this game they were secretly placed in a morality test. A man came by with a book (Romeo and Juliet) to look at their stuff... he put the book down on the table to do so. When he left he picked up the book and left behind 20,000 lire. Naturally Al ran after him and gave back the money. I think that won them $10,000 for the pot.
In this time Dorothy and Heather made a coalition but only after Heather could prove that she wasn't the mole. She said that if there was a Bible she would swear on it that she wasn't the mole... since she didn't have a Bible she swore on her engagement ring...
I was pretty surprised that Bribs was executed. I was hoping Heather would leave the game... and after seeing all the airtime she got last night I thought she would. Oh well. There's still one more chance at that.
Dorothy was pretty suspicious last night with the way she questioned Heather about the quizzes and by repeating how unlucky she's been in the games.
Happy to see this winding down and can't wait to see the final episode as well as the reunion show. It's interesting to hear what people have to say about their theories and suspicions.
Anyone read Darwin's execution interview? In it he explained why so many people thought Elavia was the mole... http://abc.abcnews.go.com/primetime/...in_chat_1.html

I don't get it. Why would that be good strategy?

The Mole is probably Bill, possibly Dorothy. No way it's Al or Heather.
There were a few close-ups of paintings last night, but I don't recall any of the last supper. Got a screenshot?

The Last Supper was one of the paintings shown... I can't do screen captures but I think the other board I visit might post one. I believe that Dorothy was positioned as Judas... wasn't he seated second man, leaning away, to the left of Jesus in the painting? It's been many, many years since art class so I could be wrong.

I believe The Mole is Bill, but I did notice something last night regarding Dorothy. It very well could be completely meaningless, and it's pretty unsophisticated, but here it is anyway.
One of the questions on the quiz was what order the Mole was interviewed. Normally when they show the quiz, the mouse moves around the screen but never selects an answer. For that question last night, the mouse clicked on Four. Dorothy was the 4th player to walk in to take the quiz, and also was the 4th person to comment after Bribs was executed.
Stretching it a bit? Perhaps, but I've never noticed any "clues" so when I think I may have caught one, I latch right on to it!!

Al got so lucky that he earned an exemption this week, becuase if he didn't he would be gone right now. One again Bill pulls through..but he has to since he is the mole!
Al will probably be gone next week.

Funny thing was at the end of the show, they asked each player if they were the Mole and asked in this order, Heather, Al, Dorothy, Bill. They all of course said no. Then they flashed pictures of each of the players as they flashed the question, "Who is the Mole?" and did this in somewhat reverse order with one exception.
Dorothy (Who), Al (is), Heather (the), Bill (Mole?) most likely meaningless but is interesting that they would reverse the order for everyone but Bill to have him on screen with the text "Mole?" underneath him.

How about this:
Opening credits roll and then the E in Rome flashes.
E is the fifth letter in the alphabet.
In first name order, Heather (of the five) is the fifth.
E is also the first letter in Evader.
Heather was the Evader.

Heather. I have changed my vote (from my boy Bribs...if he wasn't the Mole he was the one I wanted to win.)
I know she completelty similar to Kathryn, but what a good way to throw people off.

Al is the only one left that had a question about him/her . That question was the topic of at least 2 games and 2 quizes.
No nO, In the very last painting, the person with the red sleeves, Al's face is painted over the actual painting. He's the only player who has a face on the painting. You see the players walk into the resturant, then the camera goes to paintings. The picture is Al 's face. Look at your tapes!!
9.In the evader tracker game, Bill says she on the south side you should go.. Al says "copy" .
But Al didnt Move yet.
check your tapes on that.
Finnally, AL moves after putting suspicion on Bill, Al says "Who are you talking to?"
He already said "Copy" but he didnt move.
AL is so the mole.. abc is making bill to be mole...but he's not. AL is the mole.

Bill was indeed talking to Al into the walkie talkie because when he said he had seen Heather, Heather started running so that means Bill did talk into it. I think that Al acted like he didn't hear Bill because Al wanted everyone to think he was the mole.

Damn...it's looking less and less possible, but I'm STILL going with my first pick, Heather. She of course would have to be one badass actress, but I still don't think she can be ruled out.
Like Al said, they picked some weird items to buy, and in the footage they showed Heather leading the charge when they were buying them. In the evader game, she was obviously mad and upset...but was she mad that she didn't get the exemption, or that the team successfully made $100,000 on her watch? The first time through she just gives up when Al spots her. The second time through, she had 4 of the prints before Bribs had any clue where she was...then she waits like 15 minutes before going after the last one? She didn't have to worry about being seen or sneaking around, if she made a mad dash for one of the prints she would win, didn't matter if any of the lookouts saw.
Maybe it's just wishful thinking though.

If the game is meaningless, why did the producers have the players play the game?
Especially since theres no way the players would get the questions all right. This is day 1.
10. Al's favorite color is green.
11. In the loved ones game, Al didnt describe his sister accuately.
12. In the picture of the loved ones, Al's sister is holding the paper upside down while the others are right side up. (groucho we now know its not Darwin's wife.. he he)

You believe Al is the mole.
You don't want others to believe Al is the mole, because you want them to score badly on the quiz.
You consistenly cite Al as least likely to be the mole, in hopes of other players following that line of thinking.
