It's on the South Park Vol 4 DVD. It's not listed on the DVD cover.

It's the third episode, right before Chicken Lover.

Actually the other one I thought sucked was the one where they focused on Pip. I think it was a spoof of great expectations.
While not a grand-slam episode, I think there were some great moments in this one. Like the way it was "sort of" faithful to the book, then degenerated into this Mad Scientist story with a Genesis Device and robot monkeys.

And the great Malcolm McDowell introducing himself:
"Ahh, Dickens. Cobblestone streets, craggy buildings, and nutmeg-filled Yorkshire Pudding. Hello, I'm a British person."

It's not necessarily controversial. Like I said in my post, it was an April Fool's joke. The promoted the hell out of a two parter where they'd announce who Cartman's father was. But when it came time to air part two, they aired literally a T&P episode, not South Park. It was April Fool's Day, and it pissed people off so much. Like others have said, it was a stroke of genius. A few weeks later, they actually aired part two and smacked their viewers in the face again by revealing
Spoiler:
Cartman's mother is actually a hermaphrodite, and she is his father ... so who's his mother?

das

Do you know what's really funny? I don't think anyone mentioned this, but in "Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut" they keep showing ads for "Not Without My Anus" being shown next week. So it shouldn't have been a surprise for everyone

What are you doing here, Ugly Bob?

I'm doing Celine Dion.

I thought NWMA was hilarious, but it's even more hilarous that anyone would actually care who Cartman's father is.

I agree. They took away 30 minutes of my life with that crap.
April Fools!

I guess some people don't like to be tricked...

That is the best comment I have heard on the subject. What are you people Dawson's Creek fans or something? Your aren't supposed to be watching for the melodrama of the relationships. You can tell from Part I that the creators aren't very serious about the whole shark jumping, cliffhanger, suprise ending thing. Who f**kin' cared who Cartman's dad is.

Well and if you REALLY pay attention during "Not Without My Anus", every time there is a television in the background, it is showing clips from "Cartman's Mom is Still a Dirty Slut". [Homer voice]Mmm...Classic[/Homer voice]
