Applying for a job at a youth drug counselling centre: "BEELLCHH. Sorry, hang on just a second, lady; my roommate just walked in. (offline) Hey Dave, yeah just put the weed on the table and we'll smoke a bowl in a minute."
I only saw one episode.......the first part dealing with a UPS company & the lady wanting to find out what happened to her package,& she keeps getting re-directed to the same people over in over..including one guy who's very rude was hialrious since it's so true for anyone who's ever had to go through this!

One of these days Karl Malone will find Jimmy and kick his ass. Those Karl Malone bits kill me. Best Crank Yanker call last week was Bobby Fletcher calling about a telemarketing job, and the manager thought it was one of his employees on the line constantly burping. By the end of the call he said he was going to find whoever it was, fire them and give them a good beating

but I completely disagree about making Bobby Fletcher the only character. I'd say Bircham is probably my favorite, butthere are a lot of good ones.

Best Bobby Fletcher one is where he is on the phone with the water company and he runs over a guy on the road and tries to tell the operator it's a deer.

I haven't watched the show in a while, they have improved though frem the last ones I saw. Fletcher is still one of my favorites but they're all better in general. In the first few episodes Fletcher was one of the only good routines they had.

Nancy Walls is (or was?) Carell's wife. He kinda left the daily show to do "Watching Ellie" (now cancelled), and movie roles like "Bruce Almighty". But I think he is still doing the Daily Show part time, and maybe he'll go back to doing it more, now that Ellie is done.
He might want to look at other people who were on the daily show, like Vance Degeneres, Brian Unger, etc, who left that show and disappeared off the face of the earth.

I hated this the first time I saw it, but once I learned to stop watching and just listen to it I like it much more. I understand they have to show something, but the puppets take me out of the crank call feel and make me think I'm just watching some bad scripted show.

Too bad Degeneres left; he was especially talented at spoofing news reporters' pseudo-seriousness, studied body tics and vocal intonations.
Here's another one who vanished: Rachel ___man (blonde; don't remember the last name). She was with The Daily Show for only a short time, but I found her hilarious.

like bobby fletcher or special ed...omg, that would rule.
i wonder how many times theyve made a call and it backfired. these types of shows start to have that problem once words gets around (such as tom green...its hard for him to play pranks on people because everyone on the street knows him now).

From: John "57 Varieties" Kerry represents me in the US Senate.
Unless there are multiple retards on the show (and there may very well be, as I've only seen the first season and suddenly stopped getting Comedy Central a couple days ago
), a quick check of the IMDB "Crank Yankers" page confirms that "Special" Ed and Bobby Fletcher are voiced by the same amazingly talented man: the great Jim Florentine.
Here's the IMDB page: Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
