I don't watch this show anymore, but it was most certainly Eminem. Jim Florentine who does that voice, stated on the Howard Stern show he did some work with Eminem for the Crank Yankers show.

I 'm not sure, but I think it was the MTV Movie Awards. He won best male and kept saying "I got Male" during his acceptance speech.

I just saw the commerical for the new episode. The anouncer says, " Even Eminem is getting in on the act. " Eminem - " Let me put my brother on the phone. " Should be a good one.

Yes, I love this show, but sometimes I think I might be in the minority. As a somewhat retired prank phone caller I laugh my ass off.

Conceirge was a tour de force ("Gods gonna replay this whole call" "Is he gonna get puppets to act them out?" ), but the brother crank was a let down because it was pretty short and the ads made it seem like it went on for a long time.

I loved the teddy bear.

"Embrace the gay lifestyle."
"Poppa Bear wants it in the backdoor."

agreed. and i was afraid i woudlnt find it funny since i saw that commercial a million times. fortunately it was still helarious even though i already knew what the joke was.

problem is it was hard to keep it going cuz she kept hanging up. i hope they do it again to someone else.

that was hilarious!

I also liked the bit where the guy puked everywhere when he was asking questions about his wife's pregnancy.

I think that is the funniest call they've ever done.

"Who would win in a fight Spider-man or Jesus?"
...pause...
"Jesus beats everybody!"

Re: Crank Yankers on Comedy Central

Comedy Central is dusting off “the world’s favorite profane puppets” for another round of telephonic terrorism. Crank Yankers, which originally aired from 2002 to 2007, is returning for a 20-episode revival, the network announced Monday during the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena.

For the (mercifully) uninitiated, Crank Yankers was a crass 30-minute show in which prank calls — dialed by the likes of Adam Carolla, Jimmy Kimmel, Tracy Morgan, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes and Biz Marke — were brought to life via the magic of puppetry.

According to Comedy Central, the new Crank Yankers will be “updated for a digitally driven audience. [The puppets will be] pranking on phones, social media, e-sport platforms and any venue where trouble can be made.” The revival will be the first project under Kimmel’s production banner Kimmelot. His brother Jonathan Kimmel will serve as showrunner, executive-producing alongside Carolla, Kimmel and Daniel Kellison.

“Crank Yankers has always been my favorite show to make,” says Kimmel. Nothing is more fun or makes me laugh harder than a great crank call and I am thrilled that Comedy Central asked us to do it again,” said Jimmy Kimmel. “At this time, I would like to ask all Americans to disable their caller ID. Thank you.”

OMG I forgot about this show and wondered why there would be a bump... of course they are bringing this back... .IT was hysterical at the time. hope it does not lose its luster with the reboot.

Re: Crank Yankers on Comedy Central

One problem though, will it be the same show or fall to the trend of "woke"comedy?

Re: Crank Yankers on Comedy Central

So the show is going to consist entirely of elderly people without caller ID?

Re: Crank Yankers on Comedy Central

Some characters were substantially funnier than others, but I'm looking forward to it.
