I thought it was pretty lame. While I enjoyed the return of the characters, and the episode progressed pretty well, I think it's a testament to how far this show has fallen that people consider last night's episode one of the better in recent memory. Most of it was forced and just seemed like a contrived way to kill these characters. And while I'm sure we could argue the "all for one; one for all" mentality, they didn't do a good job justifying why all three had to die.

Very disappointing.
How are you supposed to feel sorry for the death(s) of character(s) when you know the show is ending?
What happened to Doggett and Reyes? Are they just phoning this one in? They hand off the investigation and go to Subway?
How exactly does Skinner manage three plots side by side in Arlington?
Great episode for MST3K!

Time for X-files to go Bye bye. Carter should have ended this great show about 3 years ago. I hope he is having fun with all that Money Fox kept giving him to go on and onnn and onnnnn and ON and burn out a once Great show.
It to think that Carter was going to go a few more years with Reyes and Dogget. Oh Brother. Someone must have slapped him up the side of his head to finally come to his senses.

Finally watched the episode. Wasn't bad. I just wanted Reyes and Doggett to not appear at all. It was great seeing Jimmy and Eve again. Although they both hardly got any screen time. Sucks ass that the Gunmen are now six feet under. They were great. CC is an idiot.
