favorite commercial

Everyone always bitches about commercials but there are a couple of great ones out there. The one that comes to mind might be regional, its on Fox Sports West. There's these 2 white skinny, dorky guys ( think pretty fly for a white guy)sitting down in thier gym outfits talking about basketball sounding all 'ghetto fabulous' for lack of a better word

guys saying how he led the league in ass-ists then they cut to the guys playing aginst the Jazz, I geuss they juxaposed(sp) them into the pictuire instead of Kobe etc and they have a running commentary like the mailman aint got nuthin on me. They do all these wild moves pass to the other guy who nails the jumper. As the commercial fades you hearing one of them doing a little rap while the other guy is doing the human beat box. It looks completely real. Sorry best I can explain it's the funniest thing I've ever seen.

I've still got these Nike commercials on my hard drive, and dig 'em out once in a while: the three different Tiger Woods commercials where he's bouncing a golf ball off his club face, and the Vince Carter/Gary Payton "super-Afro" commercial.

"Oh my goodness...."

One of my favorite ever commercials was first shown during Superbowl (I think two years ago?)

It was the Cat Wranglers.
It had a bunch of cowboys herding this stampeding cat herd.

Then they had the cowboys talking about the dangers and risks of working the cat trails.

Also, I still like that commercial which aired during the olympics with the cute french ice skater girl that gets a coke from the kid in the stands.

Any "sportscenter" or "baseball tonight" commercial is the greatest.
They're showing this SC commercial right now where curt schilling is shaking his head no, and they show his catcher pointing at pieces of cake, asking him which one he wants. when his catcher gets to this one piece, curt nods his head yes, just like deciding on a pitch, and the catcher slides the cake over to curt. it's great.

I also love the "baseball tonight" commercial when peter gammons and karl ravech are doing "who's on first?".

That Nike commerical with the little piano/violin ditty playing in the background while the camera pans from athlete to athlete. I love running to that song.

Damian Miller is the catcher. Then after the cake comes over, Linda Cohn asks what the party is for, and Schilling says he doesn't know with a mouth full of cake.

That's, by far, my favorite commercial right now.

I enjoy the Long John Silver commercials with the talking shrimp dude.

Guy: Are you calling China?

Shrimp: It's an untaped market, oh-kay?

One of my favorite Nike commericals of all time was the one a few years ago with Randy Moss and Jason Williams (White Chocolate), and it shows pictures of them from the high school they went to in West Virginia, then high school and college footage of them playing, then pro footage of them playing. All to the theme from the Dukes of Hazard (Just the good ole boys). Great spot. At the end when the guy singing the song says "Whoo...Hooo!", Moss spikes the ball in front of a bunch of bears fans at Soldier Field. I am a big J-Wil fan, so that one is definitely up there for me.

Dr. Funk is pretty good for a recent one though.

My favorite Baseball Tonight spots are the baseball movie spoofs. Last year the one for the Natural was great, Karl Ravech was the bat boy, and this year where they do the spoof on Bull Durham.

All the ESPN spots are great though. I love the purposeful knocking down of the various mascots.
