I've only been watching the show for the last six episodes or so but I think the baby is probably a vampire too. That would explain why he stopped crying when Angel put on his vampire face. Would also explain why the baby was crying, as if hungry, but would not take any of the formula (or whatever) from the bottle. Right?

Vampires don't age, so the baby couldn't have gotten to this stage if he was a vampire. Besides, he was checked out by the doctor and everything is normal with Connor.

From: I have always been here.
The baby could be a 'Day-Walker' like Blade. All the power but none of the restrictions (sunlight, holy-water, crosses, etc...) because he is alive and not 'walking dead'.

Sorry, don't agree. They have said about a dozen times now that Connor is human. So he is. Law sent down from Greenwalt unto us.
And my theory on Angel talking in the car was that he thought IT might be bugged too.

Finally got to see this episode. It was enjoyable, but I'm saddened by the fact that they keep dropping into comic relief with Angel. We all feared the goo-goo-ga-ga moments, and we got them in spades. Also, the whole climax was pretty predictable. I didn't catch the note pass or put together what the humming noise was, but it wasn't a big surprise that Angel was luring everyone into a trap. I figured he had a greanade ... didn't expect the ticking bomb.
Hopefully this is the end of most of the baby-talk. I'm glad they're setting the scene for some good conflict in upcoming episodes. It looks like the season could finish strong.

Glad to see you've gotten over your, umm, "blue period." I prefer the optimistic das.
