Was that actually Christopher Masterson dressed up as a woman? Couldn't really tell.
I was expecting all the boys to be in drag as I think that would have been funny as well but maybe they couldn't do that because they would be underaged???
Good episode nevertheless.

Underage? No, no. That's not it. It would have gone against the premise of the show, what's life like with girls. The girls made a great contrast with the boys, and seeing Lois' face go from pure joy to disbelief was classic. Having it be boys would have made it impossible to believe Lois' reaction to her own fantasy (it is her imagination afterall). I think the Christopher Masterson crossdress at the end was just a great gag. The breasts looked very real!

Another brilliant episode.. I'm glad the fantasy sequences were blended in seemlessly rather than the basis for the whole episode.. the contract in Lois's expressions going from daughters to sons

And Hal was hillarious.. Good stuff.

Yep, that looked like him, except, they dubbed over his voice with a woman's.

I could not stop laughing when Lois flashed back from the dream with the girls in the food court b/c she got the chili burger in the puss.

Too bad they spoiled two of the funnier visual jokes (Fat Hal and Frances) in the ads.
The A-plot was hilarious, but I'll admit that I liked the B-plot with Hal and the foot massager even more (even though it was a direct rip from "Seinfeld").

Great episode.
The sequence in the store where Hal buys the makeup for Malary and then she and female Reese start arguing was hilarious
It was nice to blend in the fantasy sequences directly into the real sequences.

I'm not sure which are the funnier TV parents, Malcom in the Middle or That 70's Show. They are both definitely all-time classics. Brian Cranston is overdue for an Emmy. He hasn't won yet has he? I know Jane won pretty much right out of the gates. I think he just doesn't get as much camera time.

Watching him huff and puff like a little girl running thru the mall was hilarious

Good episode. I just started watching again a couple episodes ago, having watched on and off since the beginning. Has Francis always had so much screen time? Seems like he used to just make quick appearances, but he had as much time as everyone else. Just seems kind of odd with him having his completely unrelated subplots by himself each episode.

I thought this one was not that funny. Other then the opening, which is usually always good, the Lois talk with Malcolm, and Resse at the end I thought it was pretty average.

I thought it was great, as usual. Hal's band was too great w/ the sweaters. Reese yelling at the prison guy at the end that he will never find him was classic.

ah, poor guy, but a heck of a lot braver than I would be.
I think Malcolm, when it's good, has the 'real-family' feel that Married with Children did at its best, but actually with some heart--Hal trying to unite the band back together, Lois and Malcolm actually connecting in their talk; I thought that was a good, 'feelgood' but not sappy, ending. While I normally at least kind of enjoy Francis and Otto's interaction, his subplot was entirely trite [come on, it's a tweak of Standard Sitcom Plot #43, 'Petsitter Loses/Kills Pet'.] Actually, thinking back, I guess 'The Sex Talk' is a standard plot [with newer shows, anyway], but something about MitM makes it different, somewhat fresh. I guess the fact that I can see their family as being 'real,' , the neighbours down the street, more than I can see the Friends clan or the majority of TV family/friend sets. Lack of a laugh track helps a lot.
Although I'm still on the line with whether Dewey is purposefully rabblerousing, or if his "childish innocence" is opening the adult's eyes and thus causing trouble....

I thought it was good.
Hal was great. His dream was hilarious. "ZERO TOLERANCE"
Malcolm's part was ok.
The Reece stunt at the end was
. When Craig went through the window I was dying.
