Wow, what a finale!
The proposal, you could tell Krista was really put on the spot, and it wasn't "rehearsed"!
And Will taking out Bunky's vote, that took guts! I know he didn't buy "Hardy's gameface" so I hand it to him "knowing Bunky wouldn't vote for him". Especially after the last week of Bunky complaining about Nicole/Hardy and the helicopter ride.
I thought unfortunetly because of his "speech" with his vote Bunky was the "loser" tonight. All the petty rolled-eyes and put downs were all the other day and "taped" previously.
Everyone "live once entered the house TONIGHT" was all positive to both Will/Nicole and took the high road except for Bunky.
Although they all took that in stride as well.
And Will's speech was Will's ONE MISTAKE the whole time in my mind. I thought that was the one time I was like "ugh" to anything he did.
Because if you go back to the first pages of this thread (IT's 12 pages long now!!!!! With over 10,000 VIEWS!!!!!) I was a Will supporter from DAY 1 when everyone "Loved to Hate" him.
This year's Big Brother really outshined last year's in every way possible.

I'm sure she'd be all kissy face to him after hearing that.

Well... it's over.
And I'm sorry to say, but after Will's closing speach I have to revert back to my original thoughts about him: He's really stupid!
I still admire his game a lot, mostly because he was genuinely having fun, but there's nothing that can make me believe that he played the game by a strategy! It's quite easy to devise a strategy that would explain how you got to the end and make it look like you're the brain that was scheming from the very beginning. That speach however, served absolutely no purpose but risk losing the game. He was terribly lucky that Sheryl and especially Kent still voted for him. He obviously lost Autumn's vote on that speech and possibly even Bunky's (which I think could have survived the "no money to charity" part).
All in all, good show and I'm happy with the winner.
BTW, no proposal on Will's part... Maybe he though it doesn't work after Mike's proposal, but I start to doubt he'll ever do it...

Don't you people see the genius in Will's "Gambit"? He totally used his little speech to provide CBS some amount of suspense for CBS to use to get through a few commercial breaks. He knew he had 4 votes in his pocket (regardless of what he said in his speech).
Plus, Will was yanking Bunky's chain with his answer on what percentage he'd give to charity (like what gives Bunky the right to impose his values on Will?).
I just reviewed the tape, and Will told Bunky "Listen, you have my support for all your stuff (charity)" when everyone started congratulating Will and Nicole. Of course it's easier to be magnanimous when you've just won $500,000.

Sure when Bunky will come to Will's door asking for donations, Will will surely give some amount. But he would surely not give to any other foundations and I appreciated his honesty in admitting that. He was great in delivering the answer to Bunky: "In terms of percentage to charity... it's more like... 0!!"

Anyway Will definitely saved the show for CBS. I would not have watched this till the end without him around...

Ahahaha, glad Will won. What happened after the point where Nicole ran out of the house to see her husband? I missed from there on out
I'm glad everyone saw through Nicole's act and voted for Will
Can't believe Mike is that stupid though, Krista is going to drag his ass dowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn. Oh well.

Only thing I "may" be disappointed in just a "little" is I thought maybe the voting should have been live as well as maybe the questioning (more so this part).
Because now Nicole got to take the "high road" out saying she "knew Will won". Which was NOT the case before questioning. Saying things like "You better not win Will".
She was so confident she had it won it would have been nice to see the loss LIVE and the realization that she hadn't won live.
But still a GREAT SHOW.

Yeah, it would have been great if the questions and voting was live, but CBS didn't have enough tme to do both a live Q&A and live vote, and still produce the show as a "product" to fit into the time slot, especially with the President's speech at 9 p.m.
I'm sort of glad that Nicole was a bit negative during the vote revelation process (when Julie sid that Nicole was in the lead 2-1, Nicole was not very positive at all, but was a good sport about it, and didn't make a big spectacle).
I was sure that Will knew he had at least 5 votes even after his nasty "you're not happy with your own reality" speech: Mike, Krista, Monica, Shannon, Kent, and possibly Sheryl.
After they all hugged, and Nicole run out of the house to get to Jeff, Will was overheard telling Ian (his brother) to fuel up the jet, and that they were going to Vegas! CBS cut to commercials, and then they brought both Nicole and Will to talk with Julie, and Julie asked each to describe the other houseguest with one word (some were expounded upon with a quick phrase).
From my sieve-like memory
Hardy:
Will - Competitive
Nicole - Love (I love him - brotherlike)
Autumn
Will - Sweet
Nicole
Krista
Will - Southern hottie
Nicole - Interesting
Monica
Will - Strong-willed
Nicole - same
Sheryl
Will - something like beautiful mom
Nicole - Amazing?
Kent
Will - Amercian Hero (he voted for me!)
Nicole
Bunky
Will - Interesting?
Nicole
Shannon
Will - Mmmmm
Nicole - Hot!
Mike
Will - Coolest guy I know
Nicole - Freak!
Will:
Nicole - super intelligent, smart
Nicole:
Will - strong?
Cut to another commercial, then they brought back all of the houseguests for one last group shot huddled around Julie, and she congratulated all of them, and then put in the plug for the Telethon that would be simulcasted on all major networks Friday night to raise money for the terrible tragedy that struck our country last week.

So since I only watched the show for like 1/10th the time it was on...
Were the goofy white guy and the trashy southern chick doing it like Will and Shannon???
I do not remember that.....
BTW, that trashy girl is my #1 pick to be a Hustler Honey by the years end. She's even too trashy for Penthouse.

and says he is her soulmate
She's a lush. Drank all the booze in the house then headed for Nyquil. Now she is getting married to the goofy white guy who owns a BAR. Coincidence? I think not

I haven't kept up with this thread. Anyway, my thoughts...
This show was great. Every episode was interesting especially the ones closer to the end. The only exception would be the Survivor vs. Big Brother episode. They cooked this up for ratings and my opinion, it was the most boring and unnecessary show they broadcast. CBS, don't do that one again.
Cheers for BB for bringing Will into the house. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was hired purposely to cause trouble. He was a riot from beginning to end. Dastardly and funny at the same time. The Evil Doctor!
I'd like to know when the segments "back home" were taped. Many of the evicted guests were still harboring some ill will that they carried to the final show that was taped on Tuesday. And they pounded Nicole for most of it. Could it because she's a woman? Will got off relatively easy on the interrogation portion of the final vote. Now the speech of his at the end was utterly stupid. Why in the world would he screw his chances of 1/2 mill in the eleventh hour? It's a good thing for him that everyone had the chance to cool down after his comments.
What is the viewer beef with Monica and Krista? I like them both. I would have liked for Krista to have stayed longer.
Well, Will definitely played a great game. Wicked and entertaining to the end. I hope he follows-through and donates some of that money. The wrap-up was nice too. Should have been 2 hours. It's disappointing that no BB contestant has shown up on any talk shows that I'm aware of. Luckily I had the TV on or I would have missed it since the network delayed the broadcast. I had already missed the two episodes the week before because of the tragedies.
Will there be a BB3? Any word? The ratings in my town are supposedly the highest for BB2.

BB2 is better than any reality-tv show I've seen. I've never had crack but I would equate it to crack. Had to get my fix of it every week!! Now, I'll get BB2 withdrawals.

2 thoughts on Will's final speech. Perhaps he really wanted Nicole to win the money. He had already told Hardy that he shouldn't vote for him so maybe he didn't see the money as important. Secondly, maybe he was just trying to throw it in Nicole's face one last time that he could do whatever he wanted and she still had no chance to beat him. Either way the speech was just plain strange the way he was looking into the camera. And is it just me or was is obvious that Will was going to win after Shannon got voted off? You could tell that everyone wanted him there in the finals and the only person that could beat him was Monica.

Obvious? No. If Nicole would have held up her end of the bargain, and won HoH when it was her, Monica and Will on the bed (of urine), then Nicole and Hardy truly would have been in the driver's seat. That's where the game went wrong for Nicole and Hardy, Nicole screwed it up for them. Will made damn sure that when Nicole's hand slip, he spoke and alerted Big Brother of her slip, that was the break he needed to win the whole thing.
In that case, Monica gets the boot, and the final 3 are Nicole, Hardy and Will. Will would have probably still throw the HoH and he was in serious jeopardy to get the boot from either Nicole or Hardy (but it would have been interesting to see if either Nicole or Hardy would have been loyal to one another and either one give the boot to Will, but we'll never know). If Hardy was final HoH, I know he would have booted Will (to finally carry out his promise to boot out all of Chill Town, and might use it to garner votes from Bunky, Kent, Sheryl, Autumn, and possibly Monica (this would have given him the win). It would have been a close vote if it were between Nicole and Hardy (I have no idea how any of the Chill Town folks would have voted).
