Yeah, he had a little secret room in his apartment with his cardboard box. He could look out through the in-wall aquarium. Pretty neat show.

I too have trouble of thinking of anything one season or less. The shortest shows that I really miss are:

The Adventures of Pete & Pete
My So-Called Life
Crusade (excluding the meddling that TNT execs did)

I actually liked alot of the ones metioned:
Freaks and Geeks, Fired Up, Ned and Stacey, Snoops, Total Security (big Jim Belushi fan), Enos, Movie Stars (thought Travolta, Swayne, & Stallone were great), Sledge Hammer!, Snoops, Dag, Bette, and Malibu Shores

I also want to add:
Hotel Malibu / Second Chances (Jennifer Lopez shows)
Something So Right
Just The Ten of Us
BJ & The Bear
My Two Dads
Sunset Beach<small>

I also would have to toss a shout out to Action which was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen.

But my favorite show that didn't make it very long has to be Nightmare Cafe. Anybody remember that one? Was on in the early 90s and starred Robert Englund, AKA Freddy. Some nice, really warped entertainment there. *sigh* Wish I could get my hands on some copies of that show because I barely even remember it now.

American Gothic - I loved this show - only lasted a season.

Tucker - this was a comedy that started up this season and only lasted 3 or 4 episodes before getting canned. I thought it was great though, don't know why it was cut short.

There's a lot of others that got cut too short, but not sure which ones were a season or less though.

"The Apartment" with Bonnie Hunt. Brilliant low-key romantic comedy sitcom produced by David Letterman. Funny, funny stuff.

Holy shiat ... didn't know anyone else ever saw that show. I don't remember it being anything incredible, but I did enjoy it when it was on and would have kept watching it.

For a few glorious episodes in 1986, it sure was.

Actually, as I recall the show was pretty terrible... still, I wouldn't mind seeing them again.

With all of the cable channels out there, you'd think that they'd start airing some of these short-lived shows. Have "Forgotten Sitcom" hour every weeknight on Comedy Central to showcase shows that didn't last, etc.

TV Land did this for a while and it was pretty cool. The ratings were horrible, tho, so they had to stop. I forget what they called it ... TV Land Box Set or something. Many times they'd have a theme, like shows by Gary David Goldberg or shows with the Cast of Seinfeld. It was on sometime weird too like Sundays at 10am.

It's Like, You Know. The show was great, very intelligent, so that's probably why it was cancelled. How could you not like a show with Chris Eigeman (from the Whot Stillman films and Kicking and Screaming) and also had Jennifer Grey playing herself?

The Ben Stiller Show is still the best comedy series ever IMHO. I also liked Max Headroom (and pine for a DVD set) and Probe, a Parker Stevenson clone of MacGyver co-created by Isaac Asimov.

Others that I agree with that were mentioned are American Gothic. This show was amazing and had so much to it. Nowhere Man, another great show. Max Headroom, I have them all on tape. Wish they would hit DVD.

ACTION!

If only HBO had picked this show up..... it was exactly the kind of show that would thrive on HBO, no holds barred!!

"The Family Guy" looked stupid and badly drawn but had some of the quickest, sickest and most demented jokes. It is missed.

I'm glad that other people loved ACTION as much as I did. I guess it was too good for network tv.
