WTF....searching Disney and Disney+ (The exact name of the app) yields nothing yet "disneyplus" has it as the first result. That is strange.

yeah, I searched google play for something generic like "Disney" and got a lot of garbage apps instead of the plus app, and even with just google, I got a ton of articles on Disney+ but not a link to the app itself. I ended up finding some CNET article or something that had a link to it. So it's hard to say whether Google is intentionally trying to bury the app because Disney didn't cough up enough money to get it included in the search results.

I don’t believe there’s a Google Play Store app yet. Think it’s being worked on for the near future. What I’ve read in numerous articles anyway.

I'm somewhere in the middle. Rogue One looks amazing in 4K on our 2018 Samsung UHDTV and I don't see an app available on our Samsung 2015 HDTV upstairs. Ugh, do I have to buy a new UHD on Black Friday? I'm actually considering it.

The app is being slammed. I could download and login but couldn't get to content. Probably just over-saturation of people trying to get it.

Aside from some buffering before starting a program here or there, no issues to report. I must live in the right part of the country (that’s rarely the case).

Apparently the Han/Greedo scene in ANH has been altered a bit.

Downloaded the app on PS4. If I try to go outside the home screen, all I get is "Media is not available right now" and then it takes me back to the home page. So, basically, they promised a bunch of content that not available at launch. I've been wanting to watch the Disney afternoon series lately, especially DuckTales, but all I can watch is the current DuckTales show. I searched it and found it, but it's "not available at this time", too. This is frustrating. I'm going to watch some stuff they have and hope this is just a startup glitch, but if they don't fix it, I'm not sticking with it to watch whatever's on their home screen.

Still think that Jabba scene was pointless, and makes the reveal of the Millennium Falcon to Luke scene less meaningful since we saw it revealed a few moments earlier. But the Special Editions are what they are.

I was getting this message also ... after a while I noticed a little yellow exclamation mark down at the bottom of the left-side menu ... I needed to enter the code they e-mailed me to validate. Would have been nice if it had actually said that, but I noticed it fairly quickly (after 5 “Retry” clicks).

The app self installed on one of my LG TVs, I installed it on my Roku. It was the top entry in 'new and notable'. Earlier had some connection issues, things not loading, etc. I was able to watch a short and add a few things to my list. Some speed bumps so far but I'll give it time to settle in.

This is supported by my LG. I will probably do the 7 day trial to check out some SW in 4k, but will then cancel.

Well, the issues may not be totally on Disney's end. If you have lousy Internet service and you have your app set to try and stream in 4K, you're going to have issues...may "average" consumers don't realize this, so they're blaming Disney.

Ugh, don't you hate when the kids get a brand-new streaming service, just so they can watch the same thing they've watched a thousand times yet again?! I mean, why not just watch Star Wa--

There's some minor glitches on Roku. The banner at the top where you can jump into each section isn't working properly. But, it is working on iOS.

But, I've tried playing a few movies, including Captain Marvel and End Game and they seem to be working.
