The DVD of Iceman was pan and scan too- only widescreen release has been on laserdisc. Still don't like it enough to go to The Dark Side though.

FWIW, I just bought Constant Gardener via that link. It transferred immediately to VUDU via UV but did NOT transfer from VUDU to MA. I see that the movie is listed on MA, but they prompt me to buy it and when I click on the VUDU link, it shows "You already own this title".
Therefor I assume that buying titles from Fandango Now transfers them to VUDU if they're UV, but they're not MA.
(though lots of other Fandango Now Deal of the Day movies DID transfer over. Maybe it just takes a while -- or maybe you have to unlink and re-link)

I wonder if all UV prior to setting up MA will transfer from VUDU to MA but not if purchased after setting it up. It is worth mentioning UV was down earlier for a few minutes. May be delayed syncing.

That shouldn't be true. It should go Fandango, Vudu, and then MA. Well, considering it took 2-3 hours for my VUDU to appear in MA, then perhaps that's what it will do with these Fandango titles too. 20 minutes to appear in VUDU and then 2-3 hours to appear in MA. If not, looks like we'll need to unlink and then re-link (cause that for sure would work) maybe once a week. I'll take down the distinction for now until we know for sure, but it can't be an one-time thing. Just doesn't make sense once you think it through *fingers crossed*

1. Set up a Movie Anywhere account.
2. Connect that account up to Amazon by going to the pull down menu on the top right, selecting Manage Retailers, and Connect next to Amazon Video and following the instructions (it'll take you to amazon, require you to login and approve the connection)
3. Do the same thing for vudu
4. Wait for some amount of time. Then wait some more.
5. If everything went as it should have, those movies that are eligible will port over. Not every movie is eligible, but most movies that aren't from Paramount or MGM or Lionsgate should port over.

However, it's possible that it may take a longer amount of time, or disconnecting and reconnecting those accounts, to get it to work (the service is still new, so expect some issues)

FandangoNow has it for $17.99 - 20% if you still have the coupon. That at least makes it to UV...Paramount just isn't part of the MA picture yet.

Tried my own experiment with Life of David Gale (bought in Fandango and ported over to VUDU) and it's still not in Movies Anywhere. I'll try disconnecting and reconnecting VUDU in a few minutes and then give it a few hours. They really need to work this stuff out (regardless of whose fault it is).

WORKS! Life of David Gale is now in my MoviesAnywhere library. Basically, you have to disconnect and reconnect (VUDU account in this case) and then wait about 2 hours. At least that is what this morning showed me. Also, I verified it on the Amazon end too, and it now shows I own the video. So yeah, if you are buying something from Fandango (does not show this behavior when I redeem or buy on VUDU/Amazon), you have to go through this extra step.

And now Red Box sells digital codes. Sorry, I don't know all the details, but click the movie, then buy at the box and you'll see buy digital code. It seems you'll have to go to the box to get your code, and people are saying it's a paper code.
Looks like only Disney stuff. I only tried a couple, but so far none available near me.
