Just for the record, I did get the Curious George one...and it took 20 minutes to show up in Vudu. But for the first time, it also showed up in MA as well without disconnecting/reconnecting. So it's getting better in that respect.

Wonder Woman UHD is available for 9.99 thru itunes and I purchased it and it shows as UHD in Vudu.

Just like many HD movies from other sources are being upgraded by Itunes thru Movies anywhere, it apparently works from UHD purchases on Itunes. I don't have a 4k Apple tv but I do have a 4k tv so I use the vudu app to stream 4k movies and eventually I will get a 4k apple tv to enjoy the other 4k movies that Itunes upgraded for free. So if you haven't signed up for Movies Anywhere yet, being able to purchase a UHD movie from one service and have it show up in your library on another service is a great reason to, not to mention to get free upgrades of HD movies to UHD thru Itunes.

It’s actually not completely true. I have Wonder Woman UHD in VUDU, and while it shows I have that in iTunes due to it porting over from MA, when I play it via iTunes on my Apple TV 4K, it will only play in HD. UHD movies that port over from MA will only be HD in iTunes even if it shows you own the UHD version. There’s videos of this online. Of course you could always watch it in UHD via the VUDU app on the Apple TV.

Thoughts on Walk Among the Tombstones? I have most of the later-phase Neeson action-crap films, but I don't own this one yet. Is it worthwhile?

I find that out after reading up more on it. The HD versions of movies on Itunes that I purchased thru Itunes, or redeemed, were upgraded to UHD. But you are correct that purchases from other services do not but do show as 4k UHD in Itunes. However, UHD purchases from Itunes apparently do port as UHD to Vudu. Wonder Woman, Kong Skull Island and The Martian all did when I purchased them. Some 4k movies are cheaper on Itunes than Vudu so even if you dont have a 4k Apple tv I would purchase the cheaper UHD on Itunes and it'll port as UHD to VUDU, as long as VUDU has that movie available as UHD. Confusing but now we have more choices where to buy 4k videos.

Even more confusing? Some of the films that you redeemed through iTunes, give you access to iTunes Extras. Some do not. For example, I don't have access to the iTunes Extras for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Inception or Inglourious Basterds. Not a big deal, because I have the discs -- but again -- we're all lazy. Who wants to take a disc out of a case and put it in the player anymore? Maybe it's because I redeemed those codes before there were iTunes Extras...

It's pretty good, I wouldn't put up to the level of Taken of course, but it's certainly better than Taken 2 for example. You could do far worse, especially if you have one of the "COOL" promotions left (which I used my last one for Curious George, darn kid :)).
