Weekend deals are up: https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...end-Deals/7420
Bundles: https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...f-Bundles/7422 Mix and match for $7.99 (nothing shows up right now): https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/mixandmatch/39688 2 bundles for $14.99 (nothing shows up right now): https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/mixandmatch/39687 Man, I really wish Vudu would give a UHD option for their bundles. I don't think I've ever seen one. (They could just do it for titles I'm not interested in, so I've never come across them. though.) |

https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...undle-/1074676 has a UHD option for example. |
re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes
Ah! See, those are some titles I don't care about. However, they have Evil Dead 1 & 2 bundled but only for HDX, even though individually you can buy them in 4K. In fact, if the first movie was rented individually, the only option is UHD. Vudu's licensing is weird.

re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes
besides the one minute, which even the chronological version seems to be same runtime and neither Memento listing signifies a difference, but anyone know the difference in listings? the other you can't buy anyway, so what is it? And why doesn’t the Blu-ray have chronological version? Was that fan made or Nolan approved?

https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/.../Memento/22478 The newer listing, that you can buy, has the studio listed as "bitMAX": https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...Memento/189536 I'm guessing the digital rights transferred between the two companies; Sony used to have digital rights, but the license possibly expired and bitMAX acquired them instead. The older Sony listing is there for people who bought that version and still have it in their library. The difference in playtime (113 v 114 min) is likely due to whether they rounded up or down from the seconds, and maybe one has a few extra seconds of black at the end or something (the Blu-rays have playtimes between 113:19 and 113:28 for the film) http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=9670

DVD extras get left off Blu-rays all the time. The German Blu-ray of Memento has the Chronological cut though: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Memento-Blu-ray/177389/ The UK Blu-ray has it as an "Easter egg": https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Memen...0/#UserReviews |

Can we assume that the MGM titles tied to Fandango Now and Vudu will get merged at some point?

re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes
I haven't bought anything from MGM. I don't intend on starting until they become a part of MA.

Will definitely pick up Sneakers. Love that film.
Anyone know how Beach Bum is? Wondering if it’s fun. Weird how a Best Picture winner like Crash could need a Director’s Cut. I mean the theatrical version wasn’t good, but it won BP. Is the director unhappy with the results? |
re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes
I picked up Meet the Parents and Pleasantville. Two movies that I watched a lot on DVD and VHS, but I haven’t seen them in years or own HD copies. I hope they still hold up.

I might get Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. Hmmm... I can't remember if I liked the Reno 911! movie back when it came out. Hmmm. Personal recommendation: The Lives of Others is a terrific movie and MA compatible. Plus the director's name is really fun to say: Florian Henckel vonDonnersmarck! |

Kind of in vein of Wes Craven’s Shocker and The Lawnmower Man with a little Johnny Mnemonic thrown in. Need to see again...

I think Virtuosity was more of Crowe’s breakout (albeit outrageous and poorly reviewed in US) then a Denzel movie. Am I wrong? And he had Romper Stomper in Australia, which I had on 2 disc OOP some region. It was ok movie. That was 92. I think that brought him here. I think Virtuosity was Aug 95, maybe showing cool grit in poorly received The Quick and the Dead was Feb 95 (which I kinda like and it’s Raimi). And then, well we certainly know where he went from there...
