Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
Vudu MD2D has been reset for 2019.
|
Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
Brought 15 movies & 1 TV series Black Sails: Seasons 1-4 (Bundle) using the MD2D App last night. Thanks Vudu for the reset.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
How often does Vudu lose rights to content, especially content they have "sold"? I have recently started utilizing my digital codes, so i still have the discs, but with these sales I've also bought some stuff. Some are duplicates of stuff I have on disk, others aren't, and I know I can download (with some conditions). Just curious what people's experiences have been with losing rights to content you have "purchased".
I haven't dived into the D2D yet although I tried testing a few titles today. |

I finally got the desktop app to work. It didn't work with either my desktop or laptop internal drives. I ended up getting a cheap external drive and that worked.

Click on the at home D2D tab for the download. Then uninstall Adobe Air and latest version and install Adobe 29 https://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/archi...k-version.html Then when you open the desktop app do NOT let it update Air. It should work fine after that. |
Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

There's also Movies Anywhere and Ultraviolet that allows you to "sync" eligible titles with those services and with other stores, so even if Vudu goes away, your purchases would be available on another streaming site. You have to make sure you've synced Vudu to those services though. |
Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I would say that is to new (2017) of a movie for the desktop app to recognize. From MachoKing over at Blu-ray. Use this spreadsheet from Zu Nim.. it will tell you if a movie is mobile d2d or in-home d2d. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=136094491 Personally I never could figure this spreadsheet out. |
Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I have a huge list of titles it won't recognize. I try them again from time to time to see if the system has updated correctly. It's not a perfect system.

With the D2D program, how long do items stay in cart or do they just remain until you purchase or delete?

I had to call Vudu Customer phone # at 1 (888) 554-8838. They had to manually clear/reset the cart for me. He first asked me what windows I was using. I told him 8.1. He said that was the problem my PC should be running Win 10. I told him I had been using it for years with Win 7 & 8.1. He asked how long were titles in my cart &I told it for 3 months or so. I told him I was waiting to add 20 titles to my cart. He said that sometimes that could luck up the cart. You should check out as soon as you put titles in your cart. He asked if I knew what was in my cart since I would have to add those movies back in. I told him I had a lists of what was in my D2D cart. So he cleared it, made me scan a Blu-ray in, add it to my cart & try to checkout. And it worked, first time this happen to me. |

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
Is there still any kind of discount for doing 10 movies at once?
