Picked up some Eastwood Westerns, Midnight Run, and Animal House in the Dad’s Day sale.

I picked up Chef and Swingers earlier this week. If the sale continues next week, I'm going to get Animal House, The Nice Guys, To Kill A Mockingbird, and Idiocracy. I'm tempted by Vertigo, but I think it and other Hitchcock films are going to be released in 4k later on this year.

The 80s movies for $8 sale is pretty good. I decided on buying Romancing the Stone.

Sweet! My Cousin Vinnie has been on my list for ages. (I regret not getting it before all the Fox titles were purged from D2D.) And say what you will about the quality of Sucker Punch, it has some great visuals. For that price I might have to upgrade my Blu, which I think was the first movie I ever got on that format. Schindler's List UHD is tempting for that price, but honestly, I don't know about rewatchability for that movie. I've barely ever gone back to my DVD. Great film, but an emotional gut punch.

Yes, both good.

Man there are a lot of very good movies offered there in that Mix and Match deal.

Also, that Mix & Match bundle 2 for $14.99 deal includes all six season of Teen Wolf, which costs $99.99 unbundled. Not sure if the show is any good, but that is quite the discount.

Is there a separate TV version of that sale? In the link I only see the bundle with both Teen Wolf movies...

There are actually four cutting edge movies... Three were made for tv movies that aired on ABC Family. I actually like the first Cutting Edge movie.

I got the UHD version of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood for $7.99 and that includes the extras.

Picked up Teen Wolf series, Jeepers Creepers duology (although I forgot annoying Mr Mac is in it), Escape from NY and Ghost World.
Didn't need any of them. But dang, 15 bucks for 2 movies and a full series is quite a deal. And four bucks a movie is almost impulse purchase territory.

And the Teen Wolf series is gone (though we've established that I'm blind) from the sale now.

Yeah, It looks like they removed it. That was quite a steal 100 episodes for $7.50.

Not sure I saw Teen Wolf when I checked the sale earlier, but maybe I just overlooked it. Oh well. I’m not going to stew over missing it like I still do with the Bond set.

There’s some overlap between those two MGM sales so I might have to do some planning to avoid buying a bundle title I don’t want, or so I can pay only $3.75 instead of $4.

I like both FX films and even saw Cutting Edge 2 back p when my kid was a fan of Christy Carlson Romano on Disney Channel. Pretty standard DTV mediocrity.

Picked up all four seasons of Batman The Animated Series for $39.99. Deal of the week. Wife even sprung for it, our son was 8 when it first came out, and now he will be sharing it with his son, who turns 8 in August.
