I got it too, and I redeemed last week's $2 code today on the last day to do so. So now it's just a matter of picking what to buy in which order.

The best thing Vudu can do for me is lift the cap of D2D from 100. Luckily I learned about it before the new year and got all of them in, but i would have been more choosy had I known about the cap. Another beneficial thing would to be to get more studios in on D2D like Criterion and Arrow (not to mention Disney of course).

Per Calendar Year. Reached my MD2D 100 limit about 3 months ago, waiting for Vudu to reset in 2019.

Yup, like Kahuna said, 100 per year. I would like to see that at least doubled if not eliminated. It's helped me pare down my collection by transferring movies that I don't really need to own physically (i.e., no special features or artwork) but I need to be more careful. I'm capping myself at 8 per month next year to make sure I don't run out by Jan. 2nd lol.

The past 3 months I've been using VuduToGo on my PC & blu-ray burner. Slowing going through my Blu-ray collection. But so many of these Blu-rays are not recognized. I converted about 40 titles to D2D.

but, why would they limit when they are charging money to do it? well, i'm glad i got my collection of blus, maybe 800 or so in one shot a couple years ago...

I cannot get the app to work on multiple computers. Any advice?

I converted a bunch recently and should make another pass before the end of the year. It's a little weird that they switched from the mobile app to the web browser on phone, but it works. Most annoying was when it didn't recognize The Golden Compass as a BD and wanted to charge me $5. :(

Is there an error message?

One of the problems I remember, is Adobe AIR broke it. Installing an older version would allow vudu2go to work. This has happened a few times whenever a new Adobe Air comes out it breaks the vudu2go.

Not sure if it was ever fixed in the vudu2go app or not.
There's a thread on the vudu forums:
https://forum.vudu.com/forum/vudu/vu...g-after-update.

If that fixes it, you have to ignore the prompts to update Adobe Air when you run vudu2go.

I've tried that fix and it still doesn't work. It just keeps asking me to put in a disc even when one is already in.

Every time it prompts me to update I do it & have not had any problems. But maybe I have been pushing my luck.

I've been using it on a Dell PC Destop that is about 6 years old & so far no problems. The only problem I have run into from time to time is not being able to edit my cart or checkout. I have to call Vudu & have them clear my cart.

I just converted 20 BDs that I rarely watch (Goodfellas, NBK, Sunshine, Enter the Dragon, etc.). If I ever dive into my DVDs, or if Disney, Criterion, or Paramount joins, I could see myself hitting 100 in a year easily.

Is there a way to see how many conversions you have left for the year?

No. You only know when the message comes up. Vudu phone support may be able to help. But with it being 12/30 and the reset coming up, I'd do as many as you possibly can today and tomorrow.

Should be able to check your Vudu Account History in your Vudu account settings.

The worse thing is that it's not even really a sale. I would have gotten just one of the guys as its a guilty pleasure and not available on blu but it's $13.99 for HDX. F that.
