The Wolverine will be available on Vudu Tuesday for $14.99. The audio is DD+ 7.1. Hopefully we'll see more 7.1 titles in the future.

Yeah, Abraham Lincoln VH, Art of Flight, Cars, Chasing Mavericks, Gnomeo and Juliet, Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Life of Pi, Mars NEeds Moms, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Prometheus, Rocky Horror, Step Up 3, Sound of Music, Tangled, Toy Story 3, Tree of Life and Tron Legacy are all 7.1DD+ as well.

I will say the 7.1 track in Wolverine is fantastic, especially at the beginning.

So, if one already has a Vudu account linked to UV, why couldn't they create a brand new Vudu account using a different email address (to take advantage of this deal) and then link that account to the existing UV account to result in all movies from BOTH accounts being combined?

Good suggestion.... I tried using the promo they emailed me .... & it didn't work... The old one offering 1 movie... I forgot about that & tried to use it which led to the offer you just posted.... Which obviously didn't work.... So we basically got nothing.... Might have to try your suggestion...

They've had the first episode of each season of Deadwood free before. Still wondering why the free episodes of John Adams, Band of Brothers and The Pacific were only up for a few days, when they're usually free at least for a couple weeks. Hopefully someday they'll do those again.

Oh yeah- and "This is the End" is today's 99-cent rental, you still have 46 minutes to jump on it if you want it.
