I got my copy of Gladiator on Sunday (as usual) from Buy.Com.
All of my pre-orders from Buy have come on Sunday. I don't know why.
I saw Gladiator when it first came out only once so I was looking forward to watrching it again. What a great movie. It looks and sounds great. I only watched the deleted scenes on the 2nd disk but there's a lot of stuff there.
Great job DreamWorks !

Well, how was Gladiator on dvd? Does it lose
a lot of impact when you are watching it
letterboxed at home? Don't get me wrong,I'm pro-widescreen,but big, epic films like this
need to be seen at a theater for the best effect. Some guy from Entertaniment Weekly actually preferred the full screen version
of this flick, and I was wondering if the letterboxed dvd was still watchable,at least on a 32 inch tv screen.

It's called Cadaver Express.

I also would like to know how the Post Office delivers to you on Sunday.
The only way the post office delivers to me on Sunday is if I forget the check the mail on Saturday (or check it too early - they always show up later on Saturday then throughout the week)...

I didn't see it in the theater, but I found it very watchable on a 32" tv. Just remember, the "bigger the black bars" the more you miss in pan&scan. That EW guy is an idiot, IMO.
