I wish Amazon was late with my orders. I usually do no-rush for the credits, but every time I use Prime I hope it’s late so I can get free months. Ordered something Wednesday evening and I got it noon on Friday, the bastards.

Don't abuse it but most Amazon reps will add an extra month of Prime service to your account if a Prime shipment is late.

Re: The complaining about Amazon thread

I have had very few problems with Amazon. I have been a member since 2012. When those mess ups happen, they make it right.

When items go up and down, it is not Amazons fault. Those items get sold out, or the demand changes. It happens. Amazon is not the only seller. Many businesses sell items as well.

When Amazon Fresh was available, I used it all the time. There were many times when USPS messed up. There were even times when I would accidentally order more then one item. They always refunded me and gave me promotional codes.

When I choose keep signed in, I actually stay signed in on my computer and my phone. Google keeps me signed in as well. Also, the 2 and 3 login layers can be annoying, but with Yahoo, USA jobs and other websites, I deal with it. I rather my shit be protected.

Amazon is not perfect, but it's still an awesome service. I like having thing delivered. There are other options too that I use. Google Express and Jet.

Ugh, Amazon, you get what you pay for

I'm done buying cheap made in China stuff on Amazon. Today I got two things I ordered on Amazon for my kids, an iPod case for my son, and a stress ball for my daughter. You can't fit a headphone jack through the iPod case, although it was advertised to be fully compatible for his generation iPod, and just now my daughter's stress ball broke and exploded all over her room (it was filled with tiny little beads that ended up going everywhere. And of course now she's crying because she really liked that thing. Guess I gotta go complain to Amazon now, gee, hope they don't ban me. -ohbfrank-

Re: The complaining about Amazon thread

Amazon in the UK/EU used to at least use royal mail or DHL. Now it's fucking Asendia with no tracking. It just keeps going backwards instead of improving. Amazon's highest tier expedited shipping, "Global Express" is literally double the price in the UK/EU than Amazon Japan and every "fulfilled by Amazon" seller I try to buy from on any international Amazon site to save a little somehow has international shipping blocked. I swear it's Amazon fucking doing it and blaming it on the sellers when I complain. If it's shipped by Amazon, it should fall under the same shipping policy as the same item sold by Amazon. Fuckers.

I really think international Amazon shoppers should get together and fuck over Asendia until Amazon gets rid of them. No tracking means they can't prove we got anything. So get an extra copy or two of everything you order by saying it never arrived until Amazon stops using fucking Asendia.

I'm starting to get tired of the shit from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Usually I have pretty good luck with those items as long as they are marked 'like new' but the last two I items I bought both had missing parts. Amazon better not be flagging my account for having back to back returns on their account of not checking their shit better before sending it out to customers.

It's been apparent for a while that there are no quality control checks, or even a cursory inspection, of Amazon warehouse products. It's a complete crapshoot. I avoid any Warehouse deal that isn't sealed.

I grumbled a bit when Amazon sent me an open-box TV. It was sold by Amazon, not a 3rd party seller. And it was supposed to be new, not Warehouse Deals. It was missing the protective plastic, and the sleeves were obviously taken off before.

They're still all about quantity. Employees can't be too meticulous when Amazon is functioning on such low margins. I'd imagine they have an experience warehouse employee sort new products that return to inventory and new/open box that end up in Warehouse Deals.

I've bought 100+ items on there in the past year. Maybe 200+ or 300+. First time it happened. But I was a bit annoyed. Probably a buyers remorse order from a different customer.

There are still reasons to go to the store. For example, I purchased curtains that did not look like the model photos. It was disappointing and a hassle. And, other than my standard Dickies shirts and jeans, I'd never buy clothing on Amazon.

There's other stuff where I'm amazed by the pricing. I bought a 400lb Dymo scale. It's $199 at Office Max. And $107 at Amazon (through Amazon, not a 3rd party). That's an incredible difference in pricing.

What did you do? Did you have them replace it? Or ask for some courtesy credit?

when did Amazon change their two day shipping rule. I ordered somehing with Prime on the 13th. It specificaslly said "order it wirthing the next two hours, receive it by the 15th". I still havent received it. Wheen I chat with Amazon online they are now telling me the 2 day shipping only applies to when the'yve mailed it. They didnt mail it for 3 days after I placed the order. I could have ordered it from another seller on Amazon and received it quicker and cheaper. I could have went to the store and had it already.

This has always bothered me too. None of my Prime orders ever take two days anymore. Ever. I usually get them 3 - 4 days after ordering because they seem to sit on the order for a day, or even sometimes two. It's sad because I remember when Prime used to actually mean two days - I even had an order or two show up a day early.

Opposite for me. I placed an order on Fri which was set to deliver today via their 2-day service. Showed up at my door yesterday afternoon.

Yeah, they've screwed me on some orders too. What really pisses me off though is the fact they literally sit on every order for a day, then it ships and gets here overnight. Like the overnight shipping rates are literally just an extra charge for the people in the warehouse to get off their asses and actually ship it faster and nothing to do with the actual shipping service being used.

I also bitched at an Amazon.de seller because they were selling a BD 15 euro cheaper than Amazon, fulfilled by Amazon, but it wouldn't ship to the US. Once again, the fucksticks have the nerve to respond claiming they're "not able to ship to the US" even though Amazon is the one doing the shipping and they're the assholes restricting the option for no reason. It's getting fucking old. I can't stand dealing with idiots.

...and WTF is with Amazon.com.au? I swear every fucking title they claim to stock takes weeks to dispatch. What's the fucking point of claiming to stock something when it's literally all special order? Fucking Escape From Absolom releases July 4th and there isn't even a goddamn pre-order option. All I want is one place that will ship that fucking movie properly on the release date. I don't care if it costs me $30 for FedEx. I just want the motherfucking option.

Are my eyes bugging out or did Amazon changed the site font to Georgia?

Update: Oh it's not Georgia. It's Amazon's own font called "Amazon Bookerly". Which is a font found in their kindle devices. It seems they added it to Amazon site.

Not only that, the amazon.com home page is showing "tap here to reorder" on a fucking PC. These asshole web designers are starting to piss me off. The login bullshit is excessive. What's the point of a "keep me signed in" button when it doesn't fucking keep you signed in!?!?

I hate the login double signing. I had thought they got rid of it but it came back.

Really.... He "grumbled a bit" when he was shipped an obviously USED product for what I understood to be a NEW item. And you actually seem happy by that result, as indicated by the rest of the verbose and fawning praise you pile on Amazon in the rest of the post.

I've never seen such an Amazon apologist in all my life. I'd have been pretty pissed about such a situation, but then, I'd never order my TVs on Amazon.

I hope that there was more to the story, and that they actually did acknowledge their "error" and refunded you a significant portion of the purchase price for having been so underhanded.
