DVD Talk probably enjoy's their relationship with DD because the majority of it's members have had a positive experience and enjoy doing business with DD. I'm not saying they haven't had problems, but which online retailer is absolutely problem free? Looking at my order history with DD I have placed 333 orders since 12/2001. I've had seven orders I cancelled for various reasons. Three were able to be cancelled over the phone, four I wrote "Refused" on the package and mailed it back. All were promptly credited. I have never been told I could be banned from ordering if I return too many items. I have received a number of "floaters" over the years. One phone call to customer service and they email me a pre-paid postage label while I am talking to them on the phone, always resulting in promptly crediting my card. Now if someone is in a hurry to get a DVD, DD is not the speediest dealer. If I absolutely need something on release date, I'll buy it at a B&M. I always go free shipping with DD because the speed I get the items is not important, the fact that I got it cheaper is. Right now I have a DVD that has been on backorder since the 20% off sale. I got a email from DD on Friday saying it is still backordered, and that I could cancel it if I want. I did, because it's $2 cheaper at Amazon now. I just checked and I still haven't been banned yet. I could have asked for a price adjustment, they've done this many times in the past, but the email said it could be 21 more days until they have the DVD back in stock...anyway, I hope Tracer Bullet get's their problem resolved.

To be fair, most people don't post about positive experiences. And hopefully, a majority of their transactions do occur problem free.

However, there have been numerous postings about DDD's questionable business practices on this forum, for years now. That should be enough to at least re-examine the relationship and maybe request that DDD do the same.

I used to use DDD a lot, but I ended up having too many issues with them so I no buy from them.

Worst was when they sent me the wrong DVD (fullscreen version I believe). They told me they would not send me the correct DVD until they received the other one back. After having to wait for them to send me the return label, wait for them to receive the return, wait for them to process it, wait for them to send me the correct one, wait for the long shipping time - it took about a month and a half to receive my original order.

When Amazon sent me a floater, they immediately sent me a replacement which I received a couple days later.
