New Blockbuster Online program?!?

After the first four months or so with BBO, when I regularly had 50% or more in "Wait" status, they got noticeably better. Their selection compared favorably with NFs, and adding the two free game rentals a month made it a nobrainer.I was primarily interested in TV on DVD and anime, however.
I think for most people who have a BB somewhat convenient, this will be pretty attractive, and much more flexible than the 'print your own' coupons that had to be used once a week, but it remains to be seen if they'll have the in-store inventory to back it up.

I think I'm giving this a shot next month before my Netflix renews on the 20th...looks very promising.

And I'm all signed up, there is a list of participating stores in the FAQ. It's a little more out of the way than the closest BB, but if the shipping is quick, it certainly seems worthwhile. Their HD-DVD selection is pretty strong, but lacking on the newly released titles, I'll have to keep an eye on that.

Like the deal, don't like the website.
Anxiously awaiting in-store HDDVD. I'll definitely try them out again when my free NF month runs out. And all five of the stores near me at TA stores.

I was returning some movies and found out my store started TODAY 11/1. I didn't get to try it though, will return some movies on Saturday. I was told about 8 people had already returned movies.

I was going to ask how my Blockbuster was doing on this deal when I went in yesterday however my eye appointment was moved up a few hours thus putting me at BB when it opened at 10:00 am. So I wounded up being the first person to take advantage of this deal at my BB. I brought back two online DVDs so I took two DVDs off the shelves, handed all four to the BB clerk who scanned the online DVDs first, then the instore DVDs and presto was done in a matter of a minute.
I check my account today and the next two DVDs from my queue have already been shipped so I'll let you know when I get them as for how the turnaround is. (Since I went before 12:30 pm, I'm hoping I get them in todays mail.)
Edit: Both DVDs came in the mail today.

I think this new program is a great deal for us. I still get my two free game rentals (signed up early) and I can get more movies. I've noticed long wait times for new releases lately, but I think the in-store exchange will take care of that because they seem to stock new movies pretty well.
We have a Blockbuster just around the corner, near the grocery store where we go a couple times each week. It's a no-brainer to stick with their online membership.
I think it will be interesting to see what impact this has on their store memberships. If you were in the habit of going to the store even twice each month, would you not switch now? You go from $6 a month to $18, but you essentially get unlimited rentals at your local store. You just have to go online to manage your queue to get your free in-store rental coupons in the mail (along with movies that you might want to watch). Some people won't bother, of course, but I expect that they'll get lots of new online memberships from the stores this way.

I'm glad I get to keep the game rental coupons for my son. I too noticed the wait times for new releases and just mentioned it to my wife this week. I'm thinking this will take care of that, although personally I was ok with just doing the online rentals.

Just FYI, I was able to sign up for two accounts. So right now I'm doing TWO free trials (just use two different emails).
Lets see, with 3 DVDs at a time X 2, multiplied by the free in store rentals, that makes about 12 movies at my home at any given time. Sweet. Now if BB just had a bigger selection, Netflix will be obsolete.

I'd be a bit more excited about this if I ever actually went to Blockbuster. The main reason I signed up for Blockbuster Online in the first place was that my local store's selection left a lot to be desired. Regardless, I might take a drive over there and check this program out.

I will be using this to get the new releases on Tue... no more "hoping" that they mail it to me... I just go to BB with a disc in hand to swap out for the NR on Tue...
Sweet deal if you ask me...

Returned 2 today at the local BB around 2 PMish my local time.
Let's see if 2 new online movies would be shipped Monday.
Asked clerk and they should they would mail it back for me. So not sure if 2 movies would be shipped out when BBonline gets them back whenever (Monday or Tuesday depending on mail pickup cutoff) or if it would clear my queue next business day.
Anyone have any new experiences on this yet?

Thanks!
Guess the next business day for me would be Monday.
It's just strange seeing the movies still showing as "out" even though "checked in".
Did checked BBonline FAQ and it did say in-store check-in opens up your queue for the next available movie.
