Back to normal for everyone for in store returns?

Seems ok so far to me last week and was wondering if everyone else is experiencing good service again or still encountering issues.

I haven't sent any back yet, but I got the three from my queue. I just got a new envelope, and it doesn't state you can return it for an in-store rental, but the Total Access hasn't changed on the website.

I started receving movies but they've been slick. they push back the expected arrival date so that now i can't report as returned until 2 days after I actually return it.

shipped 3/8 expected 3/10
shipped 3/8 expected 3/12

the website wouldn't allow me to report as returned until 3/12

Yup.

Got one too that shipped 3/9 and expected 3/13. Wow that is slow. Usually, it's 2 days after the shipped date. This is more like 5. And so far on 3/12, no DVD yet.

Actually BBO is very good. I have a one month free trial and I had it for a week and a half so far. I received 9 movies already within that week and a half. I return them to the store to exchange for 3 new movies, and in 2 days I get 3 new movies. I don't know why so many people are having trouble with BBO. I have about 47 in my list and hopefully to get all within this month.

all companys treat new members better.. (don't let me go into my Sprint cell phone Rant!! wrong forum..)
My only problem is the store returns not being checked in fast enough so I just report them returned at midnight the day I return them.. other than that its great...

Slightly different question on BBO.

I've noticed that all the movies that are out next Tuesday, 3-20, on my queue now shows Coming Soon instead of 3-20-2007 on Availabilty. I think this changed Thursday or Friday.

Anyone else showing the same? The availability changed from 3-20-2007 to Coming soon in your queue?

Hopefully it will be available Tuesday.

I was a bit surprised to receive two shipping notices from them today. Anybody else have anything shipped on a Sunday before?

I returned movies Friday night, but they are still in my queue. However they shipped a fourth movie expected to be delivered Wednesday. I believe I got the shipping notice Sunday. Very confusing. I'm debating whether I record the three movies as returned or not.

They have gone on record as saying that when you check it into the store, your next one will go out. They wont remove from the "shipped movies" until they recieve the title to the physical warehouse. So while it shows "shipped", if you have already turned it into the store, your next one should ship. Coming from them, you can take that with a grain of salt.

Personally I turned in 2 last thursday, friday 2 went out. I showed 4 shipped (i pay for 2 at a time) until saturday. They sent me an email stating they recieved the titles and they were removed from my "shipped" movies.

For the 38724093476035976749th time movies are not removed from the queue until they are checked in at the DC. If you returned movies on Friday night the store probably didn't even send them back til today.

I know that, but in the report option the problem is stated as "I have returned a DVD, but it has not been removed from my queue." I just think it should clear the queue when it hits the store. I mean if there is a problem inside the envelope you can take it back later, but if the envelope disappears or takes a while it's their own fault.

The only reason to report them as returned is if they haven't shipped the next movies. Otherwise whats it matter?

Why should it clear the queue when it hits the store? The barcode, I am guessing, is just a generic barcode to let them know a movie was returned and not which one.

Maybe it is a generic code, but then how does it apply the coupon to my account? Can anyone return one of my envelopes and use it for a free rental on their account?

After canceling, then opening a new account, dvds seem to be shipping normally again with much faster service when returned by mail than in-store.

What I don't understand is why if I return all three DVD's at the same time, I don't get all three shipped at the same time. I mean I returned all three on Friday, but only two new DVD's are showing as shipping.

My experience is that 8x out of 10 it works just like they say. Being that nothing is perfect when ya factor in human error and more than likely the room full of day labor illegals who are stuffing the envelopes w/dvds and sending them out, ala Netflix, I really cant complain

Sounds to be like their "system" (or shall I just call it HAL) can't find a third dvd to ship from your local distribution center.

Be aware that if you cancel a second time, they will not offer the $15.99 deal.

I received a survey from BB today asking me how I would feel if the Total Access program was modified to only allow three free in-store exchanges a month. Additional exchanges would be $0.99.

Perhaps a sign of the future?

The instore exchanges was the reason for signing up with them, I would rather them up the monthly charge(which i would also be apposed to since i signed up for the current charges) than i would for paying $x.xx more per in-store exchange. This is what they have that is so enticing over netflix(at least for me). And now they want to change that.

They pushed so hard to get so many people signed up for this service, and now are trying to change the terms. They will lose alot of customers if they go through with this...

Freakin' POS system. I returned my movies last monday...and it hasn't updated in the system. I e-mailed last week, and they responded with, 'sorry'. So I log into my account today, and it is still active, but everything was purged! No queue (I had 150-200 movies in it), no shipped movies...nothing.

On hold for 5-10 minutes now.....i hate you BB. Netflix....I may be coming back. again. For the 3rd time? I am like the stupid person who goes back to the spouse that beats them because they said they'd change. BB continues to abuse me.....and I stick around for the free in store rentals. F' that.

If they started charging for the in-store rentals that would most likely be it for me as well. I have never had Netflix, and I only signed up for BB due to the in-store rentals since my girlfriend likes to head over to BB even though I hate them. I figured I would just save us some money.
