Sounds like the deal is legitimate.

Edit: If this is considered enough to confirm the validity of the sale, then could we have a moderator/administrator remove the question marks from the thread title? Thanks.

I call upon Phil, the Prince of Insufficient Light, to darn you to Heck! I would already save more than $270 on what I put on my wishlist without preorders!

I knew I was really going to have to whittle this list down. My wife would tell me that there's no way I can afford to save $270! (And trying to tell my wife "Honey, I can't afford not to save $270" would fly like a lead balloon filled with anvils and welded to the Golden Gate Bridge.)

Oh, well. I'll just have to do even more whittling than I planned. Seriously, thanks for the info. Now I can order S1 of "Wonder Women," [sic] since I have finally found it. (Darned Dratted Diabolical typos!)

I hope you're right. Just loaded up the wish list with all preorders through September.

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to confirm to everyone that the 20% off sale referenced here does truely start tomorrow! It runs from 6/18 - 6/25.

This will be the same as the sale that we ran last November/December. I do want to clarify some misinformation -- the sale does not include pre-orders. It appears that there was some miscommunication. It applies only to currently released DVDs (non-DVD merchandise is also excluded from the sale).

That being said, I hope that you all have an opportunity to visit DeepDiscountDVD.com over the next week to take advantage of the sale. The code that was leaked last week caught us a bit off guard as we were still preparing for the event. I do apologize for the inconveniences that some of you experienced, we are doing our best to resolve each of your issues individually.

Again, thank you all for your business and I hope that you enjoy the sale!

Sincerely,
David Barker

Thank you for the clarification. (Better to deal with our half-hearted griping today than deal with our loud complaints tomorrow. )

I, for one, appreciate a representative of DDD coming on the forum and confirming the sale to us before it even starts. Also for clarifying some misinformation about pre-orders that could have caused some people to be upset if they had assumed they'd be part of the sale. We're fortunate on this forum to get this advance notice and should be grateful they've been this open with us.

Lighten up. It was done in jest - of course it is nice that they are offering the coupon and explained the limitations on it.

How is anyone to know that? Being the first post after their message it came across as quite rude. If I was from DDD I'd be thinking "Gee, we try to do something nice and they're still ungrateful". Glad to hear you do recognize it was a good thing. Gotta go, off to my lightening up lessons...

I ordered most of what I wanted last week. But this code is for a week, so I'm sure that I'll come up with some stuff.

remember, it's only one code this time, not four so place your orders wisely.

and use, the DVDTalk.com referral link so this great site can get credit.

After posting that I realize I had questions -
Will there be more than one code so that you can order several times or can you use the code repeatedly?
