I've never had an order from DDD get lost in the mail. For me it usually takes about 7 or 8 days from the ship date to get my orders. I think the longest it's taken was 10 days.

That's a real bummer At least they've been cooperative with you.

Only time I had a problem with an order taking longer than normal to arrive, it turned out the disc was out of stock. When I placed the order it was listed as in stock and they even sent out a shipping email.

After waiting the maximum time they list for free shipping, I emailed them, received an explanation several days later and the disc shipped a few weeks afterwards. A pain but at least it wasn't in some disgruntled postal worker's closet.

I wonder if they are carrying enough. Even new titles seem to go out of stock rather quickly.

They shipped an order to me a week ago via Priority Mail (or so they claim) and I haven't gotten it yet. And they've stopped answering my e-mails.

I ordered five DVDs released on 9/2, and decided to upgrade to Priority shipping. I had initially placed the order with DVDEmpire, but cancelled it and ordered from DDD instead to save a few bucks. BIG mistake! DVDEmpire would have shipped the order the Friday before the release date, but DDD waited until 9/2, and even then, they only shipped two of the DVDs. They said the other three weren't in stock. They shipped one of them 9/4 (media mail, natch) and the other one on 9/5. Finally, at my request, they cancelled the last one from my order.

So now I don't have any of the DVDs, and they won't answer my e-mails. If I'd ordered from DVDEmpire, even with media mail, I'd probably have them all by now.

This will definitely be the last time I order from DeepDiscountDVD. Their customer service used to be fantastic, but now, at least in my experience, it sucks.

Sounds like they're going through the same crap that is plaguing DVDPlanet when they shipped to this same distribution center. It's truly a shame. I preordered virtually all of the Eastwood discs that came out on 9/2, and so far only received two out of around eight with no way to check on the status. It seems like they're just going out randomly.
