That included CDs and DVDs. yea right, get a clue people. Best Buy employees do not care about you, your purchases or your attitude.

I quit there a few months back and work at GM now, but I will not deny that it is a crappy place to work because of the understaffing, overcrowding, and pressure to sell MSNs from the managers
$7/hr....sh*t i didnt even get that!!

your last paragraph is 100% correct. I do not miss Best Buy, and i will never miss being forced into selling internet service to people buying a single $9 CD.

LOL. This thread has got to be a joke. The average person has never heard of Charge of the Light Brigade. To say it's on par with Casablanca as far as name recognition is ridiculously funny.

Of al the times have bought something at BB, I never had someone ask me to buy something else. Maybe they just didn't give a damn, which is alright by me.

The thing that pisses me off the most is the fact that i know alot about movies, games and computers. Yet no video store or computer place will hire me. Best buy wouldn't even hire me i would be able to do that job very well. Aol turned me down and let me just say when i went to the interview they asked me two real hard (sarcasm of course) questions.. they were
1. What does a right mouse click in windows do?
2. How can you go from program to program in windows without
using the mouse to navigate.

of course these are very easy questions. But they turned me down. I think the interviewers were just pissed because i knew more than them lol. Oh well i guess if they are willing to hire a bunch of people that don't know a damn thing over people who can actually do the job then it will just reflect in their service. That's not to say that every aol or Best buy employee is stupid. There are some that do know what they are talking about but that is few and far between. Anyways that's my rant.. had to throw my 2 cents in since i havn't been to the board for a little over a year

Plus the average length of employment at AOL Corporate offices for entry level positions is somewhere in the realm of 6 months.

By then many people "know too much" and they are let go, or are fired for some reason or another.

I take comfort in knowing that one day every single employee at a Best Buy store will know nothing about anything and the complaints will start to grow untill finally either money will be lost or corporate will realize that morons wont cet it in thier stores.
