boy, it feels good to do one of these again. can't wait. i'm running the gamut of WW movies prior:
1. Wonder Woman (2017, 3D)
2. Wonder Woman (2009, animated)
3. Wonder Woman: Bloodlines (2019, animated)
4. Professor Marston & The Wonder Women (2017)...pretty damn good and interesting movie.
2. Wonder Woman (2009, animated)

I'm still deciding if I wanna do the 6-month HBOMax deal or use my 2-week trial from Best Buy.
The good seats are already gone for the IMAX and Dolby Cinema showings.

How does a trial not work for certain content? Doesn’t a free trial give access to all content on site, so, you know, you could try it out? To limit certain content, whatever it may be, seems preposterous.

They disabled the free trials they were offering to everyone at signup, not the ones that were unique promo codes given away.

When a company is forgoing all box office revenue for what could have been the biggest movie of the year... yeah, they absolutely can put things in place to prevent people from signing up for a week to watch WW and cancel. They're not under any kind of obligation to offer a full library as a freebie.

Many free trials of various kinds intentionally limit content/functionality. It's not preposterous at all. It is preposterous to believe that a company who offers something for free is somehow not in a position to dictate the terms of what they give you access to for free.

WW84 premieres today... but yesterday my wife and her friend decided to remove the old Satt Dish and some cables off our house. Modem goes dead so I call Spectrum, they will come out Saturday. Noooo.
I'm using my cell phone as a Hot Spot for my Roku.
Fuck that, I'm seein' WW84 TODAY one way or another.

Just finished it and it was just ok. It's only 2.5 hours, but felt longer. There's the lead into just the middle part of the film that took fucking forever to get there. Outside of the prologue, which was the only scene to open up into full screen 1.78:1 mode; the shootout at the mall, nothing happens until the scene in the Arabic highway.
It's beyond campy and they really didn't emphasize the 1980's all that much. Shit, the 80's infused trailers were way more 80's than the film. It felt incongruent considering the timeline. No soundtrack or nostalgia at all. Hell, I don't even remember the fanny pack scene at all or the trashcan as contemporary art, etc.
It had some nice action and Diana discovering how to fly was cool and Cheetah looked way better than I though she would. Is it better than the first film? Nope.

Definitely not as good as the first one. The mall scenes with Diana jumping around looked so fake to me. But the rest of the action seem good and it while it would have been terrible for her to lose Trevor again... you saw it coming from a mile away. Cheetah did looked very good and Linda Carter's camo at the end was a nice touch.
Watching Diana discovering how to fly was cool (as Why so Blu mention). Turning the jet invisible was kinda cool too.

Still watching though.
