one more thing...
dont think for a second that you can return PGR3 at a different store for something else... there is a sticker covering the UPC and it is UNDER the shrink wrap. ebay here i come. The only games that catch my eye are Comdemned and Kameo (possibly) and the Xbox Live Arcade games.

Tis just seems crazy to me that the launch partner gets 25-35 units, huge nationwide chains are empty, video game specialty stores still have not fulfilled pre-orders, yet Costco stores here and there (the closest one to me is ~47 miles) and they require a membership. I can undestand SAMs not having them and diverting the stock to the walmarts, but still.

Forgive me if this has been covered recently, but how do you go about getting a 360 at Costco? I mean, are they just in a stack in the middle of the store or do you have to get a ticket from a guy and redeem it for your stuff? I've heard of both situations so I'd just like to know what to look for.
Also, completely off topic I know, but the people I've talked to at Costco are quite possibly the nicest customer service people I've spoken to about the 360 so far. They've all been extremely agreeable and helpful, and have answered my all of my questions even with screaming babies within earshot.
Of course, this just means that I won't feel so bad about calling them several more times today to inquire about their next shipment.

Costco is awesome. They pay people the most in retail and have one of the lowest turnover rates.
