So just from reading the comments, not putting the Apendices documentary series for LOTR is a deal breaker for this pretty expensive set?

I'm not surprised there isn't a ton of new bonus content....

If this indeed does come out October 5th, I'll probably splurge on it. It will be a nice birthday present to myself. :D But I will be on vacation in Hawaii when it's released.

So it looks like the Super deluxe 4K set with Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit is could be coming out October 5th. This is apparently a leak.
