I dunno why I was surprised that story mode is locked to the first two chapters. Fun while it lasted, however. And I like Scorpion's tower ending. I hope that becomes canon.

Doesn't he also get unique dialogue (not just the same lines voiced by JCVD)? You could technically view him as a different character.

Some folk already posted the entire story mode on YouTube. Unsurprisingly, the story mode of MK1 is a better movie than the actual MK movie (which I did enjoy, despite its flaws).

Didn't they also add the TMNT (with actual personalities, unlike SF6)? Or was that in MKX?

I dunno. MK11 (https://gg.deals/game/mortal-kombat11/) can already be found for near that price. And since I'll be playing this for the story, I can wait for a sale. :shrug:

I'm just gonna wait for the eventual $20 release with all the bonus characters and any DLC they might add along the way.
