This worked out especially well if you traded in an X for $225. It cost $25 to "upgrade" to a new warranty and get an additional controller. This was a no brainer for me as one of my X's had wifi...

Strong words here... If you know what you are doing, Gamestop can be a gold mine. I haven't given a dollar in real money to Gamestop this generation...own every console, every new game that I want...

Update: argh.. Nintendo replaced it with a refurb, not able to retain the save files. Even worse, the SD card with data on it could not be used in the "new" Switch and required a format.

Nyko was very good about it. Offered to replace the Switch and dock (had to send them both in) but the Nintendo warranty covered it so I went that route in hopes of keeping the save files.

Anybody else have issues with the Switch? Mine won't boot past the Switch logo screen. I've tried resetting, multiple button combinations, etc. Trying to drain the battery now.

No expert here...but my Xbox One S wouldn't turn on after being disconnected for a couple months. Plugging it in directly to the wall as opposed to an outlet adapter finally triggered it to power up...

I just used mine last night and it offered me a 2nd month if I turned on auto renew. (Then proceeded to add several $5 ones)

Just the opposite here, I have three boys and nobody plays our PS4. Currently have two Xbox Ones and would consider a third if sharing worked on all three.

Actually, Gamestop may be the route to go. They are currently giving $250 for an X1 or PS4 towards a new PS4.

Settings: Sign-in, security... click on change my sign in settings at the bottom left. If that doesn't work, it should be somewhere, my kids sign in without a password on my home XO.

The kids loved it...I went in not expecting much so enjoyed it for what it was. Only gripe...the aliens are based on video games that were from a competition in 1982, yet Tetris was in it (1984).
