I just purchased one and am very upset, on Sony's website it says that it would turn the system on and off, I was really pissed when i got mine and it had no such feature, I e-mailed sony about it...

Mine uses stickers that cover the entire dvd and also contain the anti-theft strip. It is really hell trying to remove those things, the only thing that works is a product called "goo-gone".
