Re: Sixth Annual Drive-in/Exploitation/B-movie Challenge April 1-30 2015

I enjoyed "Ricky-Oh" as well. A couple of other highlights for me last year were "Night of the Comet" and "Disco Godfather". One that was a lot better than I expected was "Six-Pack Annie". I will...

Re: Sixth Annual Drive-in/Exploitation/B-movie Challenge April 1-30 2015

I'm wondering if there's going to be a "break-out" movie this year for me. One that a bunch of people end up seeing that becomes a wonderful discovery. I think last year's break-out movie was "Miami...

Re: Sixth Annual Drive-in/Exploitation/B-movie Challenge April 1-30 2015

Have we ever had "Disaster Movies" on the list? It seems like there would be plenty of good/bad possibilities there!

Re: Sixth Annual Drive-in/Exploitation/B-movie Challenge April 1-30 2015

It might be a good idea for us to put a list together of Roku channels that'll be great for the Challenge (both free and paid). For example, I know I snagged a few movies off Pub-D-Hub for the...

Re: 5th Annual August Animation Challenge - Discussion Thread

I was also a big fan of Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated. I especially liked the episode with the two giant monsters that was a tribute to the Japanese classic War of the Gargantuas, all the way down...

Re: 5th Annual August Animation Challenge - Discussion Thread

If I had thought about it sooner, I would have suggested adding Rankin/Bass to the Studios list. Lots of great animated (and Animagic) shows to choose from there.

Re: 7th Annual Sci-Fi/Fantasy Challenge Discussion Thread

Thanks for the recommendation on this one. I was stuck on what to watch, and took a chance on this. It was great cheesy fun (which is one of my favorite types of fun)!

Journey to the Seventh Planet wasn't bad. It...

Re: 7th Annual Sci-Fi/Fantasy Challenge Discussion Thread

While a lot of people watched Independence Day today, I opted for the alien invasion movie that came out around the same time (and the one I liked a lot more), Mars Attacks!. Such a great cast (Jack...

Re: 7th Annual Sci-Fi/Fantasy Challenge Discussion Thread

Re: The Fifth Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2014

As I mentioned on my list, I'm calling a bit of an audible on my Challenge. My main focus is still Musicals, but I had some movies for last month's B-Movie/Drive-In Challenge that I DVRed and hadn't...
