Ah, well, the only other blu-ray I have is The Matrix, will that work? I just upgraded to blu-ray, so my blu library is just starting out.

Alright, I got the digital optical cable and connected it from the back of the PS3 Slim to the back of the stereo in the CD output.

No, you pretty much explained what I needed to do. I'll have to go out this weekend and find the cable and mess around with it.

I looked at the back of my stereo and it has 2 optical inputs and a DVD input. The two optical inputs are labeled CD 3 and DTV/CBL 2 and the DVD input is labeled DVD 1 and the numbers are circled but...

I am now leaning towards that 50'' Panny Viera plasma. I'm concerned about the weight of that thing though, it is 83.4 lbs according to the Panasonic website. What do you guys suggest? Mount or stand?

It is a Yamaha model AV Receiver HTR-6030 and yes, all of the speakers and subwoofer came in one box. The DVD player is a Yamaha too but I bought that at a later date but that shouldn't matter...
