Just out of curiosity what will happen if you lay an LCD or Plasma flat?

Earth will stop, the glass will shatter, the gas will leak out, the inorganic cells will become organic and grow into plants from Jumanji and eat you, your dog will die, your SO will leave you for the plumber, and of course you will be banned from all the "cool" places both on the web and IRL.

Could we please get a serious answer here? I'm wanting to mount one on my bedroom ceiling and play Scarface 24/7.

Re: Looking to purchase a new LCD TV soon

Replacement TV arrived and I was offered to open the package too and....

It's cracked too. The delivery company took both cracked TVs back with him.

So it must be the manufacturer or in the shipping. Amazon will refund me back in full and I guess I'll go by local stores this time and there's plenty around where I live. There's a Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears, Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, etc. but I know they want more than what I'm interested in.
