Sounds to me that S$40 or S$50 is a reasonable price for R1 DVD's. R3 versions are not worth the trouble and I don't buy them at all... I only buy R1 DVD's.

I use to have the same problem with my Pioneer...

I use to have the same problem with my Pioneer DV-533K as I place it on top of my receiver but since I used the cheap $5 cooling fan the problem is now solved.
