And I’m betting Boston Calling will be postponed or canceled, which is May 23.

All concerts and tours will probably be cancelled/postponed. Most cities are banning gatherings of more than X number of people for the foreseeable future.

re: Rage Against the Machine to (eventually) reunite

I decided to hold onto my ticket.

I've waited my entire life to see this band live. Won't hurt to wait another year.

Re-scheduled dates for anyone curious:

I got the email with the rescheduled Detroit date, and I didn't notice that it said 2021 so I thought they only bumped it two weeks.

Re: Rage Against the Machine to (eventually) reunite

Yeah, just read that. I'm supposed to see them on Friday.

Looks like he finished that last show sitting down.

I'm totally fine if they want to wheel out the comfiest of chairs or a throne for Zach, but damn, just a few days away from such a long wait....

Re: Rage Against the Machine to (eventually) reunite

I read a rumor that Nita Strauss will be filling in. She just dropped out of Alice Cooper’s band a couple days ago, so it fits the rumor.

I’d be good with that.

EDIT: Ignore this post

Re: Rage Against the Machine to (eventually) reunite

I think the rumor is that Nita is going to tour with Demi Lovato.

I really don't see her filling in for Zach.

Being a guitarist, I assume she'd fill in for Morello. Their styles are similar. I think.

Yes, I screwed up on the rumor (read some things too quickly and somehow merged some headlines).

Hoping the tickets I bought a few years back on Stubhub are still good for the rescheduled shows.

Re: Rage Against the Machine to (eventually) reunite

Been watching a few clips on YouTube from the new RATM shows and it's like a 99.9% sausage-fest. Back in the late 90's/early 00's there were a lot more female fans at these shows. I also always found it ironic watching white people moshing to People of the Sun.

Re: Rage Against the Machine to (eventually) reunite

Shitty news for those who haven't had a chance to see them yet:
Rage Against the Machine cancels tour, including Vancouver concert (msn.com)

I caught them a week or so after the injury. Despite Zack sitting for the entire show, it was one of the most amazing I've seen if only for the crowd energy!

Has RATM always disabled comments on their social, in this case Twitter. I went to see what people were saying and surprised to see comments locked.

Re: Rage Against the Machine to (eventually) reunite

I keep hoping that with all the postponing, and now canceling due to injury, that they'll decide to add a date to Denver whenever they reschedule.
