For some reason I've been thinking about the civil war lately. This doesn't have Neil Young's searing guitar but I like it.

Seeing The Barbarians perform Hey Little Bird on the T.A.M.I. Show is always cool, as they stuck out like a sore thumb (in the best way possible) alongside some of the more wholesome musical acts at the time (Lesley Gore, Gerry And The Pacemakers, Billy J. Kramer, Jan And Dean) on stage that day. James Brown and The Rolling Stones garnered all the attention as the headliners but this 4-piece band from Cape Cod - with the Keith Moon-esque one-handed drummer - really stole the show, IMO.

I have an affinity for 60s Psychedelic/Fuzz Guitar/Garage rock and enjoy seeking out & finding lesser known or overlooked gems like this one here.

I saw the Cowboy Junkies last weekend and they did another Niel Young cover at the end of their fists set. A haunting version for sure..
