I was riding my motorcycle when I thought of a song that I hadn't heard for decades. It turns out that I didn't understand it when I was thirteen. I still love the horns.

A guilty pleasure and It sounds like it was inspired by Pat Benator

My favorite Megadeth song. This song is amazingly well written. Old school Heavy Metal with some phenomenal music and amazing melodies. It's just a brilliant song! It's the kind of Metal song that even a lot of NON-Metal fans can like. From Youthanasia, Megadeth's most UNDERrated album!

From my favorite Megadeth song to my favorite Great White song. While they became a bit more lightweight later on, their original EP from 1982 had a pretty unique style. This track is the best from that EP, and probably from their entire career. It's got everything you could want from a Hard Rock song in just under three minutes!

I adore this '06 Bob Seger song, especially the gorgeous strings bridge that starts at 1:18. It was written about G.W. Bush, but one can adjust it a shade to fit the current occupant. "No More":

Here's another short classical piano piece I like a lot. Mateo Albéniz's Sonata in D, played by Alicia de Larrocha.

I like it, Norm! A whimsical feel that reminds me of parts of Debussy's Children's Corner.
And Debussy's Children's Corner always makes me think of Getting Started by Richard Condie. (Spoilered for being off topic)

Ethiopian Jazz This, and a few other pieces from this artist, were used in the Bill Murray film "Broken Flowers".

I've had a passing interest in Jack Antonoff's "band" Bleachers, mostly due to the catchy 2014 minor-hit "I Want To Get Better", which I still love

I listened to his 2017 album Gone Now and while I liked it, nothing really stuck with me. I just tonight listened to the MTV Unplugged release from the same year. That version of one of the songs "I Miss Those Days" I really liked. Played at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, It's clear Jack was inspired by the club's most famous performer and channels his inner Born To Run-era Bruce Springsteen. Love what he's done with the track here. Too bad there isn't a video of the performance - weird for an MTV release.

I absolutely LOVE this song! Right in my wheelhouse! Fast Eddie Clarke from Motorhead, Jerry Shirley from Humble Pie, and (then) unknown kid Dave King (Flogging Molly) on vocals.
So good...

This is one I forgot until I ran across it on YouTube a couple days ago. I cleaned up the audio a bit. Sounds like one of those, "Could have been a hit, IF," type songs. IF they had a slightly better lead singer. IF the production were just a little better. IF they were on a major label. If all those IFs had been met it probably would have been a hit. Great song!
